P.8 Shits came in pairs, the restaurant I worked for paid the salary late and late again since a year ago. 2-3 days late in the beginning, then 1 week time late, and 2 weeks time late. I was the assistant manger that moment, thus, the colleagues asked me to figure out with the management. However, the management had me terminated because I was so called provoking the company management. In the end, I went to the Labor Department to deal with this, and the company paid me all compensations according the labor laws, but some of the pays were withdrawn from my MPF contribution.....

Had been looking for new jobs again and again the next 6 months time, but no replies from all the applications sent out. Anyhow, the precious moments with 🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷 at home was really unforgettable indeed 👊🏻

P.8 好事成雙！當時工作的餐廳，過去一年經常遲出糧，開始時遲兩至三日、接着是遲一星期、到最近的兩個星期。因為我當時是餐廳其中一位最高職位的員工，所以同事們都找我幫忙向公司詢問，但公司負責人覺得我是在滋事，於是將我解僱。到最後要到勞工處解決，雖然公司有賠償遣散費，但是部份款項是從我供的強積金扣除支付.....

就這樣，失業了半年，雖然很多不同工種都有應徵，但一個回音都沒有。不過正面去看，就是可以有多點時間陪伴🐷🐷🐷🐷成長！

Singapore is making excellent progress on our vaccination rate with 52.1% already having their first jab done and 36.1% being fully vaccinated (stats from Google).

However, I think one way to encourage and motivate even more people to get jabbed and speed things up faster (and go back to some sense of normalcy) would be to possibly allow those who have already been fully vaccinated to go unmasked and gather in larger groups, maybe even allow some places in Singapore to be opened only to them. Events and nightlife could be reopened again but only to the vaccinated ones.

If anyone who is yet to be vaccinated decides to cheat the system and go unmasked and eventually (touchwood) gets the virus, he/she should be made fully liable for the treatments and compensations and the consequences.

With places like the US and UK much bigger than us already opening up themselves and their vaccination rate about the same as us... I don't see why we can't do the same.
