    一位印巴籍爸爸，帶同兩歲大的女兒來求診。

    「中文廣東話？English？」

    「English.」

    「OK. She fell down with head injury right?」

    「Yes yes, she fell from bed and hit on the forehead.」

    我把小女孩額頭的紗布打開，她開始不安爭扎。
    「Did she vomit?」

    「No...No...」爸爸一邊答，一邊幫忙按住女兒。

    「Did she faint out?」

    「No ar... 哎呀衰女包你咪亂咁郁啦！」

    我先被他純正的廣東話嚇了一跳，回過神來再反問他：「原來你識廣東話嘅！又揀英文？」

    「哎呀醫生，我啲廣東話咁水皮，無謂出嚟獻醜啦！」

    「廣東話得喇。醫生呀，我個仔兩歲喇，我地回教嘅傳統呢，係男仔到咁上下，就要幫佢剪賓周嫁喇。」

    「下？咩話？咁你⋯⋯呢個仔⋯⋯咁你又點⋯⋯」

    「係呀，我地個個都要剪賓周嫁。」

    「你⋯⋯意思係賓周皮下話？」

    加強教育宣傳正確使用急症室是必須的，但有時候這些小故事也可算苦中作樂呢！
