Clash有較多情況都係non-physical嘅，佢可以解「兩件事情喺時間上撞期」, 例如: “My tutorial class originally clashed with the rally tomorrow but I have cancelled it.”，又例如「理念上不同」，”The extradition bill amendment clashed with the political stance of many citizens.”，所以都見到係non-physical。但佢亦可以解「衝突」，無論係verbal定physical, 例如”Citizens clashed with the police on 6.12.”同埋”The pro-democracy camp and the pro-Beijing camp clash over the amendment to the extradition bill.”

Crash就physical多，例如”The car crashes into the tree.”同埋”Giant waves crash against the shore.(岸)”。如果”crash” as an intransitive verb (不及物動詞)，就可以non-physically解”fail”/“become unsuccessful”, 例如”The stock market crashed in 2003 due to the outbreak of SARS.”

Crush就解「壓碎」，例如”I am used to crushing the nuts before eating.”，佢亦可以解「鎮壓」 ，例如”The police force was ordered to crush the rebellion. (反抗)”。有個幾得意嘅位就係當佢係noun嘅時候，就可以解「愛情上著迷」，例如”She has a crush on her teacher!”

在球學聯盟早期例行賽的階段，我們曾經禁賽過將近100個學生球員。15周過後，被禁賽的學生球員只剩下38位。62位學生球員有了非常明顯的進步！
其中有一位學生球員讓我印象最深刻。
竹林中學的高三學生球員林義翔從數學8分到70分。家長，老師，教練都傻眼！
真的，我們大部分的學生球員缺的不是方式，而是一個「動機」呀！不是可不可以，大部分只是願不願意。
例行賽的結束也代表季後賽的開始。非常開心看到有這麼多的學生球員拼了命的在學業和球場上努力。真的非常感動和正面。
讓我們一起來幫他們加油和關注他們吧！

這才是真正運動和教育的價值，力量和感動！
In the beginning of the regular season, we had to suspend 100+ student-athletes due to academic ineligibility. However, after 15 weeks, that number dropped to 38. This means a total of 60 student-athletes’s academics have improved dramatically!
This is especially one student-athlete that left a strong impression on me.
It was Chun Lin Private HS’s Senior Yu Xiang Lin who went from getting an 8 on a math exam to 70! This was a pleasant surprise to all of his teachers, coaches, and parents!
Truth be told, what most of our student-athletes lack is not the know-how but rather the incentive and motivation. It’s not if they can or cannot but rather it comes down to their willingness.
The end of regular season also means the beginning of the playoffs. It’s truly inspiring to see so many student-athletes working so hard on and off the court in order to compete in our playoffs, for themselves and their teams.
Let’s all cheer for them!

[報氣象]
暴風桃莉斯自昨晚開始影響英國，蘇格蘭、北英格蘭、北愛、中英格蘭通通被點名顫抖等強風大雪與暴雨，今天早上八點BBC氣象對大倫敦地區發的佈強風警報也從原本黃燈升級為橘燈（橘燈意思要警戒與準備，但是不到台灣颱風假的程度）。
現在（1:30pm左右）約是30mph風（平日微風約10mph以下，以下簡稱級），到下午四點會加強到50、60級，也可能有短暫強風達70級以上，請在倫敦街頭活動的朋友注意安全，可能有吹斷的樹枝、屋頂掉下來的雜物，有些交通會受阻（接著要變成報路況了）。
目前已經知道南北往來的火車都誤點了，因為出現高達94級的強風，影響火車行駛安全，Euston 火車站暫停發車。
