酷咕鴨 KU.KU Duckbill

Sasa 一出生時，需要待在新生兒重症監護病房，必須以奶瓶餵奶，後來隨我到產後護理之家由我直接哺乳，但，兩種方式都令我煩惱。因為Sasa 需要某種特定類型奶瓶和相對應的奶嘴才能適應並好好喝奶。

在嘗試了幾個不同的品牌後，發現酷咕鴨 KU.KU Duckbill 的KU Plus寬口PPSU奶瓶有許多令我驚豔的多種好處，堪稱專業級奶瓶。For example同樣是寬口用奶嘴，Sasa因嘴小在使用他牌奶瓶喝奶時都要嘗試好幾次才會成功含住，餵食時也容易從奶嘴上方的透氣孔上方漏奶，直接滴到寶寶的衣服上溼成一小片，非常困擾!! 但自從Sasa使用KU Plus寬口PPSU奶瓶後卻可以一次含住，重點是不‧會‧漏‧奶，守住了媽媽最珍貴的母乳還超好拍嗝、不扁塌，簡直是媽媽餵奶之路上必買的餵食神器。

對了，我有沒有提到這個瓶子是MIT的？？台灣製造！
高品質把關除了解決我最頭痛的餵奶問題，還多了需多保障與貼心小細節要跟大家分享，從材料製造上不含BPA、採美國FDA同規格的檢驗到承受高衝擊墜落而不會磨損也可以經過紫外線消毒，這是多款塑料嬰兒奶瓶沒辦法做到的。最貼心的是奶瓶蓋直接可以牢牢抵住奶嘴，即使奶瓶不小心倒了也能防止裡面的液體漏出來。

水瓶附上可愛的背帶和吸管，非常適合Kali（Sasa的姊姊）帶著她可愛的新水瓶去上學。我超愛這組安全、實用且輕便的新型嬰兒奶瓶！

Immediately after she was born she was sent to the NICU and had to be bottle-fed. After transitioning to breastfeeding at the postpartum center, I had a lot of trouble switching between the bottle and breast, it was really clear that Sasa always needed a certain type of bottle and a certain type of teat.

After trying several different brands, I found that the 酷咕鴨 KU.KU Duckbill wide-neck PPSU bottles had several benefits that I liked. For example, the wide neck shape was just right, I tried other wide-necked bottles but they were a bit too wide making it hard for Sasa to latch without unlatching several times before she drank. In many other brands, the milk will leak out and basically drip all over the baby’s clothing, wasting that precious milk. The anti-colic U-shaped ventilation system prevents leakage from the bottle, and even helps baby Sasa burp better, saving me a lot of headache!

Oh btw, did I mention these are MIT?? Made in Taiwan!
On top of fixing my baby bottle problem, this baby bottle really pays attention to the small details. First of all the material is BPA free and meets FDA standard testing, the bottle can withstand high impact falls without a scuff as well as a UV sanitizer, which many plastic baby bottles cannot stand. The lid prevents leaking, if at any point in time, I had to use formula, I could directly shake the baby bottle with the lid on.

The water bottle comes with the cutest strap and straw, which is perfect for Kali (Sasa’s sister) going to school with her cute new water bottle. Simply love these new safe, practical, and lightweight baby bottles!

認識G6PD缺乏症
有認識家有G6PD寶寶的朋友，會發現他們對寶寶的飲食、生活異常緊張，不要以為他有小朋友而變成「緊張大師」，而是G6PD這個遺傳病處理不當可以致命。
G6PD全名為葡萄糖六磷酸去氫酵素缺乏症，俗稱蠶豆症，患者終生不能接觸蠶豆等食物、藥物及用品，一旦接觸會導致急性溶血，出現呼吸不暢、心跳加速、眼白泛黃、小便茶色、面色蒼白、疲倦等症狀。大部份患者日常生活沒有症狀，只要日常生活多加留意，就能避免病發。

引發蠶豆症出現急性溶血的物質：
- 蠶豆及相關製品，例如粉絲/粉皮
- 部份中藥材例如珍珠末（出現在保嬰丹）、金銀花（出現在五花茶/廿四味）、臘梅花、黃連、牛黃、薄荷等
- 特定化學物質例如萘（出現在臭丸、防蟲貼中）
- 某些抗生素、抗瘧疾用藥、部份止痛退燒藥

每人體質和情況都不一樣，接觸引致病發物質的濃度和時間亦不相同，如有疑問宜向醫生或註冊中醫師查詢。

Get to know G6PD deficiency
If you know any parents who have a child with the G6PD deficiency, you will realize the parents are constantly worried for their child’s health and diet. Before you label them as helicopter parents, it is good to understand how life threatening this health condition can be.

Patients with G6PD deficiency, or glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, must avoid any consumable items related to fava bean (also known as broad bean). If consumed, they may experience acute hemolysis, breathing difficulties, palpitation, and fatigue. The whites of their eyes would turn yellow, their face would turn pale, and their urine would be dark or yellow-orange in color.

Individuals with this disorder generally do not exhibit symptoms in their daily lives, but they need to keep a watchful eye on their habits.

Consumable items that might trigger acute hemolysis in patients with G6PD deficiency:
-fava bean and its related products such as vermicelli and green bean noodle
-some Chinese medicines such as pearl powder (used in Bo Ying Compound), honeysuckle (used in five-flower tea and twenty-four-flavours Tea), flower of wintersweet, Chinese goldthread ('Huang Lian'), ox bezoars ('Niu Huang'), and mint
-certain chemicals such as naphthalene (used in mothball and sticky trap)
-certain antibiotics, anti-malaria medicines, painkillers, and fever reducers

Ah, the terrible twos... Kali is starting to have her own opinion and really express herself. She loves to play, she loves to laugh, and she loves to crack jokes. That includes flipping her bowls and plates on the floor. She also gets pretty attached to certain things like specific bath toys, stuffed animals, clothes, and yes, even dinnerware.

The first time we introduced her to her first Miniware set, she immediately loved it! We do, too, as it has significantly reduced kiddie clutter at dinner time. 私は普段、頭の中にぽつりぽつりと出てきた言葉や、過去の自分に戻ってその時の心境を歌詞に起こすことが多いです。割と自分と空想との対話で、思い出したり心を特定の心情に持っていく作業なので、感情の波を作り出して操りながら書いています。なので人と会話をしながら一緒に歌詞を書いたりするとそのペースが上手く作れずに脳がストップしてしまうというか、自分の中からあまり言葉が出てこなくなってしまいがちなんですね。でもマインドマップを使いながらのブレインストームは、自分の言葉である一方で特定のルールや規則性によって生み出される言葉なので、どこか自分でない誰かとキャッチボールをしているようだなと感じます。それでいて自分のペースで考え進めることができて、場合によっては今回の動画のように誰かと共有しながら広げていくこともできる。あれ、私みたいな孤独は嫌だけど平行遊び大好き人間にちょうどいいのでは…？
なんにせよ宇宙に行きたいです。

When I write lyrics, I usually put down the words that popped into my head, or bring myself back to a certain point in the past in my mind and capture what I felt. I sometimes force myself to feel what I need to feel, creating and controlling the waves of emotions. So a deep conversation between myself and some imagination is what's most important for me, and for that I tend to struggle when I try to write lyrics with someone else. But when you brainstorm using a mind map, you follow a certain rule or pattern so although you're alone, it's almost as if you're brainstorming with a different being. Perfect way to dig out the words which you probably wouldn't have come up with naturally.
