弗洛姆對於愛提出一個我很喜歡的觀點「愛等同於需求」嗎？

這是一個我們很常見的狀況，但卻未曾深思的問題。很常聽到人說：「如果他不負擔我生活費用，我嫁給他要幹嘛？」或是「如果她不能照顧家人小孩，我娶她要幹嘛？」更甚至「如果我還要分擔家計，那我一個人就好了，我要他幹嘛？」或「如果不以結婚為前提，我們就不用浪費時間交往了。」

這些話乍聽之下好像沒什麼問題，但若深思之下會發現，這樣的「愛」是以「需求」來評量的。也就是說，如果你能滿足我的需求，我才會（能）愛你；如果你無法滿足我的需求，我就不會（能）愛你。這也就是弗洛姆說的「不成熟的愛」。

成熟的愛，是一種愛人的能力，而不是一種被愛的渴求，更不是以需求做為愛的交換籌碼。如果我愛你，是因為你能給予我需求的滿足，那麼我愛的不是你，而是你所提供的工具。

不僅是物質上的需求，有時候我們也會期望對方滿足我們情感上的需求，這正是有些人會選擇被愛勝過去愛人的原因。因為害怕受傷，因為愛人好累，所以以為選擇了被愛，就不會受傷，就能夠安穩。但說穿了，這也只是情感上的需求找個人來滿足而已，橫豎還是工具人。

尋求他人來滿足自己的需求，本質上是一種慾望的流轉，而不是愛。

而這在關係中會矇上一層「不現實」的幻想，找尋能夠提供生活所需或情感所需的對象，是無法真正認識一個人的。因此就進入了弗洛姆的另一個觀點：「愛等同於對象嗎？」

如果愛等同於對象，那麼對對象的理想化會在對方無法提供我們被愛的感覺上幻滅，於是這個人無法讓我感覺到「被愛」，或是提供「我想要的生活」，那麼我就得換一個人。

這兩個觀點環環相扣，共生循環。如果把愛等同於對象或需求，都是設立一個理想在等著它破滅，因為現實中的人是有血有肉有其限制的，沒有那個完美的對象。所以我是因為愛你，才需要你；而不是因為需要你，才愛你。

最終，也許我們都得從尋覓幸福的迷惘中，找到內心平和寧靜的精神之家。

我們身體有一類細胞，叫做「抗原呈遞細胞」(Antigen-presenting cells, APC) ，負責將抗原收集、分解、再「呈堂」交給免疫將軍T細胞。無論是自己人的抗原，還是敵人的抗原，APC都會呈遞給免疫細胞，指揮他們要攻擊，還是不要攻擊。

如何分辨是敵是友？其實是看APC有沒有同時呈遞「逮捕手令」，一些刺激免疫的訊號(co-stimulatory signals)。一般，在細菌病毒感染下，由於會出現細胞死亡，或其他炎症訊號，所以APC會同時呈遞co-stimulatory signal，指揮免疫系統攻擊。相反，自身的抗原，一般都在沒有炎症訊號下出現，所以APC不會呈遞co-stimulatory signal。

在部分情況，例如胸腺的APC，或者未成熟的樹狀細胞(immature dendritic cells)，都不表達co-stimulatory signal。因為胸腺是T細胞成長的地方，那裡的APC，主要負責教導T細胞不要對自體抗原反應。這也叫佢中央免疫耐受(Central Tolerance)。我們身體不單需要中央免疫耐受，同時需要「表層免疫耐受」(Peripheral Tolerance)，即是身體表層的免疫細胞，清除反骨仔的漏網之魚。

這些耐受性的APC，是不是只能辨認自體抗原呢？小鼠有種病毒叫Friend virus，故意入侵小鼠胸腺，令胸腺APC當它們是自己人，從而教導免疫系統不要攻擊它們。

mRNA疫苗，和其他疫苗不同，是直接在你細胞表達。所以在哪裡表達，在什麼細胞表達，同時附加表達什麼訊號，都很重要。這也是mRNA技術的好處，改變表達地點和共同訊號，就可以做到免疫耐受，治療自體免疫疾病。BioNTech和moderna的第三期臨床測試，都以肌肉注射。其他注射方法的效能和安全，都是未經第三期臨床測試的。

不過不要緊啦，科興都不用第三期啦～
