在這些會面中，孫處長重申她深化美台夥伴關係的承諾，並強調美台共享的民主和經濟價值，以及美國對台灣恆久的承諾。

AIT Director Sandra Oudkirk continued to have introductory meetings with Taiwan counterparts this week. She met with Premier Su Tseng-chang on August 16 to discuss the deepening U.S.-Taiwan relationship including investment and trade cooperation. The following day, Director Oudkirk met with Mainland Affairs Council Minister Chiu Tai-san to talk about cross-Strait relations and with Minister of Justice Tsai Ching-hsiang to share perspectives on cyber security, human rights, anti-corruption, and anti-money laundering. On August 18, Director Oudkirk met with Minister of Health and Welfare Chen Shih-chung to discuss U.S.-Taiwan health cooperation and with Central Bank Governor Yang Chin-long to exchange views on economic trends and global supply chains. Yesterday, she met with Legislative Yuan President You Si-kun to learn about Taiwan’s current legislative agenda and domestic political developments.

During these meetings, Director Oudkirk reiterated her commitment to advancing and deepening the U.S.-Taiwan partnership, stressed the common democratic and economic values that the United States and Taiwan share, and emphasized the United States’ enduring commitment to Taiwan.

In response to this new challenge, the 8 leading tech companies in Taiwan, including Delta Electronics, TSMC, AUO, Microsoft Taiwan, LiteOn, Acer, Asus and PEGATRON have collaborated on the founding of Taiwan Climate Partnership (TCP).
TCP aims to advocate the net-zero goal to the supply chain in actual practice, while raising awareness for the issue through close cooperation with international counterparts.
Therefore, the TCP members decided to share their experiences on sustainable development and urge everybody to take action. TCP would like to invite more Taiwanese companies to work together for the net-zero goal, for sustainable economy and for a better future!

Mass Effect Legendary Edition is a compilation of the video games in the Mass Effect trilogy: Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3. It is being developed by BioWare with assistance from Abstraction Games and Blind Squirrel Games, and published by Electronic Arts. All three games were remastered, with visual enhancements, technical improvements, and gameplay adjustments. Mass Effect, the first game of the trilogy, has received more extensive upgrades than its counterparts, specifically with regard to combat mechanics, vehicle handling, and loading times.

Development on Legendary Edition commenced in 2019 under the direction of Mac Walters. Although BioWare initially considered other alternatives, they ultimately decided to approach the project as a remaster as opposed to a remake in order to preserve the original trilogy experience. The compilation was announced on November 7, 2020, and was released on May 14, 2021 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
