不可以。是因為你不能從名詞短語裡省略介詞短語的"首語"(head phrase)。

(1) Nintendo is scared.
(1.1) Nintendo is more scared.

(2.1) Nintendo is less scared.
(2.11) Nintendo is less scared of Microsoft.
(1.11 & 2.11)->(3) Nintendo is more scared of Apple than [Nintendo is scared]
of Microsoft.
