All the bottled products have a refreshing scent! Let’s introduce them one by one in the order of my skincare routine! ①Tea tree pore tightening toner I’m not that of a toner gal so I have not much to say more than the scent 😂I do like the scent! ②Tea tree control acne powder toner This product need to be shaken before use. I only suggest to use it at night for the powders show up after it dries on my skin. ③Tea tree anti-acne treatment lotion It’s very fluid so I prefer to use cotton pad to apply to my skin. My skin has a moistured look after this product gets into the skin (it takes time). I like it! ④Tea tree control acne gel Highly recommend this product for it has great outcome on making big acnes go away, more amounts of the product than others (which is 20ml), and a drugstore price! The scent is good and it’s transparent. 💥Big toe pain (附中文) “Fix your feet alignment” - 📌 Hallux valgus - a condition clinically referred to the big toe deviating to the lateral(outside) of the body. - 📐 If you are to measure it, start from the sagittal axis to the midline of the big toe. Acceptable ranges are within 20 degrees of deviation relative to the sagittal axis. - 🚨 The condition of hallux valgus itself might not be the sole contribution of pain on your pain toe. But rather the intra-capsular fluid got pushed out of joint, with repetitive irritation from inner toe box can cause pain during flexion and extension of the MTP joint. - 🚶 So, you have pain when you walk. - 📈 What about foot orthotics? As research has shown that patients reported a decrease in pain level without affecting work hours in the office, and the mean amount of sick time leave for surgery is 53 days. So is there any exercises to help with the pain and correct foot deformity? YES！ - 📹 3 videos shown here. Start with the easiest and progress. - ⏱ Foot exercise require an immense control of individual muscles and neuromuscular connection. Don’t flare UP your toe but rather try to pinch DOWN. Focus on your big toe movement. It will take some time to learn isolated abduction of the big toe. - 👟 Change into shoes with a wider toe box or even put padding on the inside of the MTP joint to mitigate any chances of irritating the site of pain. ———————————————————————————💥 拇趾外翻 “練腳趾” - 📌 拇趾外翻 - 臨床上指的是大腳趾往身體外側偏移 - 📐 如果要測量大腳趾偏移的角度，我們從矢狀面開始量到大腳趾的中線。臨床上正常的範圍要在20度以內 - 🚨 拇趾外翻導致關節變形可能不是造成腳趾疼痛的唯一原因。關節囊內的液體因為關節變形而被擠出關節外，會導致關節外發炎腫脹造成疼痛，另一個原因是鞋子內襯反覆的刺激腫脹的關節，導致關節在屈曲和伸展時疼痛 - 🚶所以，走路的時候通常會感到疼痛 - 📈 足部輔具有用嗎？研究指出，輔具是可緩解足部的疼痛。而因手術導致不能工作的平均時間約為53天 - ⏱ 足部運動需要大量的神經肌肉控制。大腦因為從來沒有學習過這個動作所以剛開始做的時候腳趾都會有點不受控制，試著將腳趾往下抓地板而不要讓腳趾往上翹。注意你大腳趾的動作，學習足部關節的分離動作會需要一點時間 - 👟 換成寬的楦頭鞋子，或在大腳趾關節內側放襯墊，可減少刺激疼痛部位，這樣走路也不會一直磨到 . #jamesthephysio signing out

💥My Doctor Says...(附中文) “Second Episode: Knee effusion” - 🤔 ‘ Effusion in the knee joint’ can sometimes be confusing when your doctor tells you that they need a syringe to extract the excess fluid in the knee joint! - 👨🏻‍⚕️ The situation of knee effusion happens in every other joint after vigorous exercises like running and weightlifting. With appropriate stretching and low intensity cardio(E. Woitzik, et al 2019), excess synovial fluid cycles back into our blood circulation, like how we have muscle pump and it goes flat hours after a workout - 🧠 Is excess fluid in the knee joint the cause of knee pain? Often not. We need to take into account of the volume of excess synovial fluid. Over 20-30 mL is considered as pathologic. Up to 40-50 mL of bloody fluid might be extracted after an ACL rupture! More than often the source of pain is overlooked by physicians that lies in the quality articular joint motion - 📌 So instead of blaming the swelling, we should start to be more active and take good care of our own body for recovery ———————————————— 💥我的醫師說... “第二集：膝蓋積水” - 🤔 很常聽到病人說，我去找醫師照了一個什麼，醫師說我膝蓋有積水。那到底為什麼會積水，積水到底是不是造成膝蓋疼痛的原因呢？ - 👨🏻‍⚕️膝關節是其中一個最容易積水的「關節」。膝關節屬於負重關節，在一般行走時，膝關節需要承受體重的2-3倍壓力(D D’Lima et al, 2012)。當我們進行激烈運動時，像長跑或深蹲的時候，膝關節承受的壓力會特別大。壓力增加，關節就需要更多關節液來「潤滑」關節，避免關節內的軟骨造成更大的磨損。而關節液的增加，還會讓關節內的溫度上升，這樣不僅可以暖身還可以達到「暖關節」的作用 - 🧠 運動過後，多餘的關節液可以藉由血液循環來帶走。如果沒有適當的在運動後做伸展，或做低強度的有氧運動(E. Woitzik, et al 2019)，便會造成關節液滯留，也就是「積水」。臨床上「積水」的程度可分成三種，5-10mL 以下屬於輕微，20-30mL屬於中度，30-40mL以上屬嚴重。抽出來的關節液依據顏色、濃稠度、白血球數目等等來做分析 - 📌 如果只是輕微膝蓋水腫，建議先試著做適當的伸展、低強度有氧運動像是立式腳踏車，把腳抬高做腳踝幫浦運動，或尋求物理治療師，做適合你的治療運動 ❤️ 分享到你的限時動態再標記我 - #jamesthephysio signing out
