Second day at #Okinawa was filled with traffic and FISH. So crowded at the #aquarium, it felt like the fish were watching us instead of the other way around. All kinds of marine animals that were quite astonishing. We like the whale sharks, manta rays, giant crabs, and dolphins. They were huge and meccha kawaii! Dinner was #sashimi after watching them all day of course. 😀

人比魚多的沖繩海族館，聽到的中文比日文觀光客多，LOL。但絕對要去，太震撼了，面對著鯊魚邊吃著簡餐的體驗很棒，很可惜沒有餵到海豚，有太多有趣的海底生物，看完都流滿口水當然要吃生魚片。

Potluck 的中文翻譯是“一人帶一道菜聚會“. 那Family Potluck 就是親戚們展現廚藝的時候 (上次包潤餅都如此大陣仗).

地點是在親戚家, 活螃蟹都自己在後院處理, 烤鴨, 烤牛肉, 炒麵,沙拉一字排開, 當然少不了酒 (嘿嘿)!! 家庭成員太多, 只好分長輩桌 (Adults Table) 和晚輩桌 (Kids Table), 不同時代聊著不同語言與不同內容, 最後最完美的當然就是新婚夫婦的感謝致詞, Cheers!!

🌏 Family Reunion Potluck is priceless!! The potluck location is at my auntie’s house. My relatives prepared lots of dishes, including roasted beef, roasted duck, chow mein, salad.. etc. We even bought live crabs to cook. Pretty neat, right!

Since there are lots of family members, we separate into adults table and kids table. Different generations chatted different subject with different language. The perfect part would be the Thank you Speech from the newlywed! Cheers

Black Pepper Crab

Ingredients:
Crabs ---------------------------- 2 Pcs
Black Pepper ---------------- 3 Tbsp
White Pepper ---------------- 1.5 Tbsp
Butter ---------------------------- 3 Tbsp
Shallot --------------------------- 4 Pcs
Garlic ----------------------------- 5 Cloves
Fermented Soy Bean ----- 1/2 tsp
Sugar ----------------------------- 1.5 Tbsp
Oyster Sauce ----------------- 2 Tbsp
Soy Sauce ---------------------- 2 Tbsp
Chinese White Wine ------- 2 tsp
Water ------------------------------ 1 Tbsp
chili --------------------------------- 1 Pcs

Method:

1. Toast the black and white pepper in a pan over low heat until the aroma comes out.

2. Add oil in a hot pan, cook the crabs over medium heat until it changes color. Take the crabs out and set aside.

3. Add oil in a pan over medium heat, and then add butter, shallot and garlic. Stir fry to enhance the flavor. After that add the fermented soy bean, sugar, oyster sauce, soy sauce and the crabs into the pan. Stir fry to combine the sauce and coat them evenly on the crabs.

4. Add Chinese white wine and water from the side of the pan. Last but not least, add chili, stir fry and mix.
