Indian troops from a special covert team scrambled ahead of a group of Chinese soldiers to control several crucial Himalayan heights on the southern bank of the lake, placing Indian forces in a strategically advantageous position to observe Chinese activities along the north bank of Pangong Lake, according to Indian officials.

China countered that it was Indian troops that crossed illegally beyond what it considers its side of what is known as the line of actual control, the de facto dividing line between the two countries since they fought a war in 1962.

馬桶易阻塞英文怎麼說？

如網友留言說的，「馬桶易阻塞」翻譯成 the toilet is easy to block，真是教科書式的標準台式英文。也有人說，easy這字不該出現，但這只說對了一半。

「馬桶易阻塞」直譯成英文，請稍微動點腦筋，回想你曾經學過的英文文法，是不是記得有一種動詞用法是：以主動形式的動詞表達被動的語義。例如：

This toilet clogs easily. 這馬桶容易阻塞。
This jacket doesn't wash well. 這夾克 不容易/不適合/不好 洗。

馬桶不會拿東西阻塞自己，衣服也不會清洗自己，但這都是自然道地的英文表達，以主動表被動，寫出的英文比被動式還簡潔：This toilet gets clogged (up) easily.

另一個不用被動式但也能表達「常會/容易+動作」的意思：

This toilet tends to clog up. 常會阻塞起來

看到沒，自然的中文表達「馬桶會阻塞」不也和英文一樣，以主動表達被動？如果讀過書了卻還在一般語境下寫出「別丟衛生紙，不然馬桶會被阻塞。」，是想氣死國文老師嗎？
