【協助自立，才能更加融入，消除障礙／非障礙二分法的邊緣化效果】

法律保障人民的權利，保護弱勢不被歧視。

但諷刺的是，權利往往失去，人們才懂得珍惜；

而歧視通常已經發生，社會才著手彌補。

身心障礙者權益保障法以及身心障礙者權益公約的出現，

便是因為在現在的社會結構中，

人們有意無意間讓身心障礙者只能在社會的角落流動，

原因在於人們不認為障礙者能夠承擔社會角色所應肩負的責任，

障礙者必須更加努力證明自己跟正常人一樣，

這樣的眼光加深了「正常」與「障礙」的二分法，讓障礙者更難融入社會。

「貧窮人的台北」是 向貧窮者學習行動聯盟 發起的年度活動。今年十月，用9種群眾行動，包含展覽、訪問、講座等，倡議拒絕貧窮歧視。

身而為人，應當擁有選擇，並讓選擇為人帶來自由。
當社會為貧窮者展開更多選項，你我不會再如此不同。
