Posted @withregram • @maoshanconnie ❤️小松鼠先生留院日記 第三天🦫 eng below Mr. Poms third day at vet (14/sept) was not so optimistic Unlike ytd he didn’t sit up at all, but whenever I spoke to him, he opened his eyes wide 想起今天我跟小狗 Mr. Pom 的對話。 我真係唔係眼淺嘅人，但都跟他（單向對話）講到眼濕濕。 （我不斷思考是不是單向，因為他雖然超累超病，但每當我說話，他就把眼睛張得很大，然後我問他是不是的時候，他都眨眼。 小狗有emotions, 有一定的智慧。 在我離開前他還嘗試坐起身望我） 他今天的狀況跟昨天差太遠了。 昨天整隻狗仔坐起來，精精靈的。 今天全程無坐起過。 都說獸醫不會騙人，他們早說過小狗的情況好差，只是我們全部人都好渴望一個奇蹟。 其實本來都無乜嘢，中途收到獸醫的特別小報告（就只有情況好差才會有那種） 怕他*就算* 真係捱得過，身體上的damage 都太過irreversible, 怕他一世都會live in pain 後腿不能動 椎間盤 移位 很痛 嘴巴下顎 骨裂 了 肝病等 對的，如果情況太差，我們做人的也希望有安樂死。 但若果不太差，或者當時人/狗很有求生意志，也許還可以試多一會兒。 我們也不會固執說因為是一個no-kill shelter 就死要佢suffer. 但我總係十分之thankful LAP 就算面對最困難，最病重的動物仔，都會視他們如自己的仔女/貓狗般，盡力去救。 And this is not just 講吓咁容易。 就算係我自己隻貓狗，幾千蚊一次睇獸醫，住院，我都會肉赤right? 作為一個charity, 都要付獸醫費，沒有固定收入，只靠個別有心人捐款。 而每個月的獸醫資出都六位數字。 小動物沒有公立醫院，住一晚醫院吊住鹽水很昂貴。 Anyway, 我也不是因為他可能要死而跟他談得眼濕濕。 只是本來正在告訴他，外邊世界的樣子。 來自繁殖場的狗狗一世住在黑暗、嘈吵、極度臭的籠裹。 陽光的溫暖 牛肉的鮮甜 草地的青蔥 溫飽的肚子 藍天和白雲 清水流過小手上 我們要是毒霧茫茫的暑天都不停埋怨， 要早點返回冷氣間，買個雪糕食。 但這些對他來說都是很遙遠的東西。 總之，我就正在告訴他，外面有個這樣的世界 叫他好好休息，之後就可以去看看那個外邊的世界。 旁邊留院狗孩子都在哭，他一定很怕，心想這裹是torture chamber 嗎，但其實他們只是想家。 而你好起來以後，都一定一定會有一個家(not a false promise, 這個是肯定的） 小pom pom 躺着不動。 今天的他太累太病了。 我只是想到他什麼好東西都沒有經歷過。 所有都未經歷過就要離開世界的話.. 只有痛和寂寞。 呢啲繁殖場狗狗好慘，都一世受苦... 住在小籠裹用作繁殖 忍受寂寞、痕癢、身體不適都無人理 一生踏在鐵籠腳仔都紅了 跟屎尿同眠 因為人類的貪婪 終於自由了，但時不時都已經太遲 14/Sept Tuesday I thought of the little conversation I had with Little Mr. Pom earlier today. I don't cry that easily, but still got a little teary chatting with him. And I also kept wondering if it was a one way convo, as he was so weak, barely sat up, but whenever i spoke, he opened his eyes big. His condition was much worse as compared to ytd. Yesterday he sat up with bright eyes. Today he just lied down the whole way. Our vets don't lie, they already said on the first day that he might not make it the first night. It's just we all hoped for a miracle. Mid way, I got a little special message from Sheila & the vet, the type of message special that one would only get when things were so bad... (con’t in comment)
