Happiness is…freshly picked strawberries from our neighbours garden! 🥰

When we first made a decision to move, we were so worried and sad to be leaving our old neighbourhood. In these modern days, it’s not easy to find good neighbours let alone to establish a good relationship with your neighbours in a foreign country.

We considered ourselves blessed to be surrounded by good neighbours especially John and Jill, the elderly couple who were our former next door neighbours. They are not just neighbours but more like a family to us and grandparents to the kids. In fact, they were more saddened than us when they found out that we are moving as they love the kids so much - bless them! 🥲

All praise is due to Allah The Almighty as He has a far greater plan for our family. Our new neighbours gave us a very warm welcome to the new neighbourhood. Not just one or two of them but we are beyond blessed to be surrounded by so many friendly and caring neighbours. One of the families is also Muslim. And two of of our neighbours’ sons were The Omar Mukhtar’s schoolmates from KES too.

They all have been very helpful to us from before we even moved in. They’ve been sending us food since they knew that we are currently living without a kitchen especially the Muslim family that have been regularly sent their home cooked food for us - Alhamdulillah ♥️

And yesterday, one of our neighbours shared strawberries from their garden with the kids. Can’t wait for our plums and apples to ripen from our cottage garden so we can share them with our new lovely neighbours…

We built ancient brick kilns with clay and peat. I made brick kilns using the ancient method my ancestors did. It is a manual method that we have learned. It helped our ancestors build the best works of the time. Initially we used clay to build the furnace, we went to a stream with coal mines to get peat. peat is formed after coal erosion. we have bricked in the previous video and took that brick to wiggle in the oven. It takes a long time for the tiles to ripen, which takes about 24 hours. The result that after many efforts we have been very good bricks. We will make lots of bricks to carry out these projects later. Maybe we will build a miniature ancient city. Thanks for watching. Subscribe to the channel to follow the new videos.

熟したバナナとビターチョコを使った濃厚なブラウニーです。
このためにシュガースポットでるまで待ちました～
水分の多い生地なので竹串を刺してみて生地が少し「てれっ」とつくくらいが焼き上がりのサイン!
チョコはミルクチョコよりもカカオの風味の強いビターチョコを使うのがいいですyo!

【Ingredients】18×18cm　Square Cake Pan
100g Dark chocolate(DARS Chocolate)　
50g Unsalted butter
2Eggs(large)(room temperature)
50g granulated sugar
50g Cake flour
10g Cocoa powder
2g Baking powder
For Toppings:
Ripen bananas 2
35g Dark chocolate

【Directions】
Preparation: Beat the egg well.
Line the cake pan with parchment paper.
Preheat the oven to 160°C.

①Put dark chocolate and butter in a bowl,then double boil and melt.
②When the chocolate is melted, add sugar, and beaten egg in order, then mix well.
③Shift and add cake flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder,then mix well.
④Pour ③ into the pan lined with baking paper, and put bananas and DARS Chocolate on top.
⑤Bake at 160℃（320°F）for 22min.
⑥Take the brownie out of the oven, then leave it in the pan for a while to cool.

*When the heat went away, put it in a plastic bag or wrap it.
*The texture is thick and delicious, but it is even better on the next day or later.

【材料】18×18cm　スクエア型
ビターチョコレート(ダースビター)　100g
無塩バター 50g
卵(L)室温 2個
グラニュー糖 50g
薄力粉　50g
ココアパウダー 10g
ベーキングパウダー 2g

トッピング用:
熟したバナナ　2本
ビターチョコ 35g

【作り方】
準備:
卵はよく溶いておく。
型にはクッキングシートを敷いておく。
オーブンは160℃に温めておく。

①ボウルにチョコレートとバターを入れ、湯煎にかけて溶かす。
②チョコレートが溶けたら、砂糖と溶き卵を順に加えてよく混ぜる。
③薄力粉、ココアパウダー、ベーキングパウダーをふるって加え、よく混ぜる。
④クッキングシートを敷いた型に③を注ぎ入れ、半分にスライスしたバナナとDARSチョコレートを上に乗せる。
⑤160℃に温めたオーブンで22分焼く。
⑥ブラウニーをオーブンから取り出し、型に入れたまま粗熱が取れるまで網などの上で冷ます。
⑦粗熱が取れたら、ビニール袋に入れるか、ラップをして乾燥しないようにする。

*焼きすぎは生地がパサついて美味しくなくなるので、焼きすぎ注意です。バナナの水分で多少とろっとした焼き上がりになりますが冷めると固まります。
*翌日の方がより美味しく食べることが出来ます。
