Been sometime i last posted my workouts Deads and squats sets from today Note that there are many things I’m working on to improve with my deadlifts esp atm - the bar path , the first rep that always gets spoiled cause of my bad starting point which gets rectified somewhat in the subsequent reps, bracing, etc But finally happy that i feel my addcutors and quads working and i feel the push and I’m no longer pulling in my deadlifts Still working on the bracing and pelvis issue /slight hyperextension that i sometimes see too but been learning things on my own without any supervision and gonna do this until i heal completely from my injury that will take me like 4-5 months from now Im currently working to get my weights up as safely as i can without causing nat trouble to my right leg And get as close to a new PR hopefully soon cause my sets look way better than my previous sets prior injury and I’m sure im getting closer to a new PR (my last was 85kg which i havent been able to inprove since a year and half ago due to injuries on the same right leg twice ) Current bodyweight @ 55 kg cause put on weights after eating shitloads of cake and junk last two weeks 😂 1️⃣and 2️⃣ slides 3* 70 kg sets *6 @rpe 7 (3mins rest) 3️⃣4️⃣ slides - 3 *67.5 kg *5 paused sets @rpe 7 (3mins rest) 5️⃣7️⃣ slides - 50 kg paused squats sets - the lift still being affected by my torn meniscus injury from Feb 😩 6️⃣ slide is 70kg last set 8️⃣9️⃣slides are pistol squats sets 3*8-10 each side 9️⃣ slide is right leg which is still 70% recovered from the@injury Pistols suck on this side but they’re getting better tyan before Gotta have loads of patience! [中文下方] --- The person in the picture was me, a girl with disordered eating but haven't realized it. I was overwhelmed by the social stigma that being thin is "better." I was sold by the lucrative idea that women should look "small." I was full of insecurity because I bought all the idea that diet culture sells. And I was wrong. - I had been mistreating myself for almost half of my life. And I want to fix that. I'm also aware that I've unconsciously promoted the "being thin" idea by talking about it all the time. I'm sorry. I just realized that diet culture actually started with people talking about body shapes. We heard people talking about body shape all the time, so we got used to it. But common is not equal to normal or healthy. When I realized that, I began to find tons of evidence around my life: - people talking about how much weight they have lost/gained, - people staring in the mirror and checking their every single body part, - people looking at food with insecurity and fear. If you're any of them, I feel you. I understand. Because I was ALL of them. - After I rectified my mindset and the relationship with my body, the freedom and comfort I found are beyond words. And it breaks my heart to see many old "me-s" doing bad things to their body. You're not your body. The body will change every single day, but you won't, so do the people who love you. Every body is different.
