    Penggunaan daun bidara adalah sunnah Rasulullah SAW. Pohon #bidara (#sidr) disebut sebanyak 2 kali dalam kitab suci Al Quran iaitu:

    😊1. Surah Saba, ayat 16:
    “Maka mereka berpaling ingkar, lalu Kami hantarkan kepada mereka banjir yang membinasakan, dan Kami gantikan dua kumpulan kebun mereka (yang subur) itu dengan dua kumpulan kebun yang berisi dengan pohon-pohon yang pahit buahnya, dan pohon-pohon yang jarang berbuah, serta sedikit pohon-pohon bidara.”

    😊2. Surah Al-Waqia, ayat 28:
    “Mereka bersenang-lenang di antara pohon-pohon bidara yang tidak berduri.”

    Daripada kajian-kajian makmal seluruh dunia yang telah dilakukan ke atas setiap bahagian pokok ini, terbukti banyak kebaikan dan penawar (medicinal properties) di dalam daun, buah, biji, kulit sehinggalah ke akar pokok Bidara.
    Hasil Kajian dari Jodhpur National University, Bidara mengandungi;
