    I’m lost for words. I rarely post anything like this but this behavior is absolutely disgusting and completely uncalled for. When the world is facing a fucking pandemic, we should be standing together and working together to help heal the world, not spreading more racism and hate towards innocent people. I feel even more disappointed by the fact that this happened in Australia. It really makes me worried that the next time my family is out on the streets, some idiots like these will attack them. Please stay safe everyone and report these two imbeciles.

    看到澳洲那邊也有發生宗族歧視我真的氣到心臟快要跳出來了. 我們正在面對一個國際疫情，我們需要做的是一起努力度過這個非常時期 而不是用恨 用暴力 用歧視來攻擊無緣無故的人.

    This happened today in Marrickville at around 3pm to my sister and I. As you know, hate crimes against Asians have increased and I’ve seen disgusting videos from all around the world. I never thought I’d be in one. This is what racism and xenophobia can do. I didn’t get it half as bad as my sister. I only wanted to protect her.

    For context, these two girls were behind us, talking loudly and as soon as they walked towards us, they shouted obscenities about our race and the Coronavirus.

    At this point, my sister and I had enough and wanted to defend ourselves so we responded with “excuse me, what did you say, say it again!”. All we wanted was to stand up for ourselves and I’m glad we did. No one should be able to say the things they said to us or anyone else. And for that, they threatened us with a knife and the girl in the grey tried to attack my sister and ended up spitting in her face. So I remained level-headed and wanted to diffuse the situation and walk away, because we were clearly dealing with someone who had no common sense and only wanted this to end in one way.

    Anyway, my purpose in sharing this is to find out who this girl is, so that she gets caught and can’t do this to anyone else again. I believe I’ve seen her in this area before and I’m sure someone might know of her. So please, if you see her anywhere in the inner west, most likely in Marrickville, contact myself or report her to Crime Stoppers.

    P.s. Please stay safe and just do the right thing.
