Someone asked, “Is it wrong to borrow money?”

“The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender.” (Proverbs‬ ‭22:7‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The Bible says that the borrower is servant to the lender. This is because the borrower has to work to pay the lender.

One of God’s promises is that “you shall lend and not borrow”.

“Yahweh will open to you his good treasure in the sky, to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You will lend to many nations, and you will not borrow.” (Deuteronomy‬ ‭28:12‬ ‭WEB)

If someone is lending, means that someone else is borrowing isn’t it?

So God is not saying don’t borrow money, if not He would say “give” and not “lend”.

I believe what the promise means is that He will prosper us who believe in Him, so that we will reach a position where we don’t need to borrow, but we will have more than enough such that we can even lend money to those in need (as led by the Spirit).

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.” (‭‭3 John‬ ‭1:2‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

God prospers us as we give as unto Him. Sponsor the Gospel, help those in need, especially from the household of faith. As we sow seeds bountifully, He shall generously multiply seeds back to us so that we can continue to be well-supplied for every good work. Just read the whole chapter of 2 Corinthians 9.

As we do so in faith and worship towards God, He will supply us with good ideas, connections, helpers, to bring more financial blessings towards us.

“Send your grain across the seas, and in time, profits will flow back to you. But divide your investments among many places, for you do not know what risks might lie ahead.” (Ecclesiastes‬ ‭11:1-2‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Through the Holy Spirit, we will receive foreknowledge that allows us to prosper. We really need Him to supply us with winning decisions.

If you are currently in debt, keep believing in His promise to prosper you and make you a financier, not a borrower. He is able to work all things for your good!

原本沒想過要拍孕婦寫真，畢竟我的整個孕期幾乎都忙著在吐😂還有讓自己適應各種身體與心理需要面對的辛苦，壓根沒想過拍孕婦照這件事。
但從懷孕後沒多久，每天都有私訊問我：「米粒，妳會拍孕婦寫真嗎？」
從第一孕期被問到第三孕期，都覺得是不是不來拍拍不行了？（笑）畢竟懷著Ido寶寶，真的是我從沒想過的事，每天更是體驗到各種不同與全新的疼痛考驗，甚至無助送醫...我已走了8個月的孕期，真的不是那麼快樂與順利，但很感謝我的身邊有許先生。

這8個月，有尿頻、有暈眩、有乏力、有嘔吐、有抽搐、有抽筋、有發燒、有肋骨痛、有恥骨疼、有無法呼吸、有昏倒路邊、有各種情緒劇烈的起伏激盪，他每一天都在我身邊幫我加油打氣，從一開始跟我說「媽媽要快樂，寶寶才會快樂」，到最後他抱著我對我說「沒有關係，想哭就哭，不用假裝快樂，有情緒很正常的，有情緒我們就發洩出來，妳很棒很厲害了！如果換成是我應該早就撐不住了！妳是好堅強好勇敢的媽媽，我好以妳為榮好驕傲了！」

整個孕期間，他是我最強而有力的支柱，不但在身旁陪伴，也在身旁照顧，在我一懷孕時就自己上網做滿功課買齊所有營養品、妊娠油妊娠霜、冰敷袋、孕婦枕等等；在我看著鏡子覺得自己身體變形時，他幫我預約好多間孕婦按摩並且告訴我「妳沒有變形，妳現在好可愛」；在我半夜衝進廁所嘔吐的時候趕緊跟在身後幫我撩著頭髮；在我清晨雙腿抽筋的時候趕緊起身幫我按摩；在我送醫的時候哭腫雙眼努力想盡各種辦法；在想著回台灣生產時立刻搜尋婦產科醫生跟比較聯絡各家月子中心；在確定待在香港生產時，火速面試十幾位月嫂並聯絡helpers；在我陷入低潮跟各種痛苦時，他會找到最好聽的音樂讓我放鬆，握著我的手陪我說說話，或用我最喜歡的身體乳液幫我按按摩。

他陪著我散步、陪著我去游泳池泡泡水、陪著我深呼吸、試著找各種能讓我孕期放輕鬆跟舒服的方法，他和我一起學習關於懷孕的這件事，他是我的神隊友，是我最愛的許先生👫🏻♥️！

從沒想過自己會結婚、會有自己的家庭、會懷孕當媽媽，然而這一切的不確定，都是因為身旁的許先生而慢慢卸下心防感到確定，感到自己不再是一個人，感到自己充滿力量。

我們的孕婦寫真，沒有什麼氣勢非凡的華服與夢幻蕾絲禮服，因為我想要的，只有記錄下我們日常最真實的互動，我們最真實的相處，我們的吵吵鬧鬧嘻嘻哈哈。

Inami is most well known for its extensive wood carving district which traces its origins to the construction of the Inami Betsuin Zuisen-ji Temple in 1390. This temple, entirely made of wood and ornamented with intricate carvings has a long history of burning down only to be rebuilt in a much more extravagant fashion. The temple was most recently rebuilt during the Meiji period in 1885, and now exists as the largest wooden Pureland Buddhist temple in the Hokuriku region. It was officially designated as "one of the prefecture's important cultural assets" on April 1, 1965.


Because of its rich history, wood carving is the major trade in Inami. During the reconstruction of the temple in the mid 18th century woodcarvers from Kyoto were dispatched to help in the rebuilding process. These helpers ushered in a new era of woodcarving in Inami, and local carpenters began to produce a more varied assortment of carvings than the temple pieces they had focused on previously.Presently, the woodcarvers use over 200 different variations of chisels to complete their works. They are considered to be the most skilled woodcarvers Japan.

The sound of the Inami woodcarving district was chosen in 1996 as one of the 100 Soundscapes of Japan.

Thought I should add this. I have the utmost respect for domestic helpers in Singapore, be it Filipino, Indonesian or Burmese. It takes courage to leave one's home country and work in a foreign land just to support one's family. I made some jokes about domestic helpers in SG, but there was no intention to disparage any group of people.
