本院前院長、翁啟惠院士榮獲2021年威爾許化學獎(Welch Award in Chemistry) ，也是首位獲得此獎項的華人科學家。

此獎表彰得獎人在化學研究的重要貢獻。翁啟惠院士長年鑽研於化學生物及醣分子科學研究，是全球首位發展多醣體自動化合成、以酵素方法量產醣分子及醣蛋白的科學家，他所發明的「程式化一鍋式反應法」，讓醣分子能在實驗室裡快速合成，是第一個自動化合成多醣體的化學方法，他的酵素法也是目前唯一可大量而快速合成寡醣的方法。同時，他也持續將醣科學應用於癌症疫苗、醣晶片、醣探針、對抗病毒及細菌之藥物研究等。

威爾許基金會董事會主席Carin Barth說：「威爾許基金會的任務是透過化學研究的突破來改善他人生活，翁博士已經以此為目標深深耕數十年。他不僅在化學和生物領域研究上有革命性的進展，他的方法也將有助未來新藥和疫苗研發」。

威爾許化學獎由威爾許基金會(Robert A. Welch Foundation)設置，旨在促進和鼓勵基礎化學研究，彰顯化學研究造福人類社會的貢獻。該獎項於化學領域擁有盛名，自1972年設立至今，每年頒發給1至2名，截至上屆已有54位科學家獲此殊榮。包含翁院士在內，目前僅2位亞裔科學家獲獎。

Welch Award in Chemistry. Dr. Wong is an influential leader who has made numerous discoveries in the fields of synthetic chemistry and chemical biology that have benefited humankind. With this award, he is being recognized for his development of new methods for the synthesis of complex carbohydrates and glycoproteins and the elucidation of carbohydrate-mediated biological recognition associated with disease progression.

舞蹈空間╳進念‧二十面體共同修煉「非法」多媒體舞蹈劇場《如夢幻泡影》，胡恩威、于逸堯繼《華嚴經》，非想非非想《金剛經》，陳瑞憲No設計美學，「新生代女吉他手」盧凱彤夢幻結他彈奏古琴「非音」，與舞者形體互動 - 「讓音符存在於彈奏與迴響的一瞬，細味箇中的一切」。《如夢幻泡影》2014年3月台北國家戲劇院夢幻首演，9月19-21日香港文化中心大劇院再度「非法」上演。

Dance Forum Taipei X Zuni Icosahedron, Dream Illusion Bubble Shadow is derived from the last chapter of The Diamond Sutra ("All conditioned phenomena are like dreams, illusions, bubbles, shadows" and uses the negating logic of No to create the aesthetics of Emptiness. "We feel overwhelmed with weight when the Diamond Sutra is mentioned. Yet Dream Illusion Bubble Shadow conveys the feelings of airiness, ease, swiftness, dreaminess, illusion, colour, odour and light, revealing weight in lightness; nothingness in somethingness...", Mathias Woo.

Ellen Joyce Loo live guitar performs the no-sound of guqin. PMPS Yu Yat Yiu synthesized electronic music interacts with body movements. In the five parts of Dream Illusion Bubble Shadow, dancers of Dance Forum Taipei together with artists from Hong Kong and Tokyo, co-create an atypical contemporary multimedia dance work that transforms the ordinary norms of presentation - introduction, elucidation, transition and conclusion.

#アリスソフトが発売したRPG要素のあるADVであり、ランスシリーズの1作目。98作品で16色400ライン、タイリングによるリアルな肌色表現という当時としては非常に斬新なシステムで登場したADVであり、シリーズは同一キャラ群が、同一世界観で、登場人物、物語が全て繋がったストーリーとなっている。また、アリスソフトブランドのデビュー作でもあり、当作品が後のアリスソフトの看板タイトルとなっていく。「II」では突然自由都市地帯にある町まるまる一つが消えてしまう事件が起こり、解明の依頼を受けたランスが偵察に行くと消えた町は地下に沈んでいる。町の人達に話を聞くとスタム四魔女という4人の魔女の犯行らしく、4人の魔女討伐を目指す事になる。
BGMはDRAGON ATTACK!I氏が作曲、IIではIの流用曲も使われ
