    我想老樹在大自然中除了被人類破壞掉之外
    最大的天敵就是打雷了吧～（好像很多神木都被雷劈過）

    而且他們又一定是那個區域中最大的目標物

    每個人有28萬6千分之1的機率在一年內被閃電擊中
    也就是這棵樹要逃過1500年不被雷打中才能活到現在ＱＱ

    LE PLUS GROS BAOBAB CONNU À MADAGASCAR EST MOURANT

    Le géant s'appelle Tsitakakoike et mesure 27,30 mètres de circonférence. Il aurait entre 1300 et 1500 ans ! En début d'année il a été frappé par la foudre et a perdu trois de ses cinq branches maitresses. Sur les photographies, on observe clairement les dégâts. Il ne devrait survivre qu'une ou deux années tout au plus.

    On a longtemps pensé que le plus gros baobab de l'île vivait dans le sud dans la région d'Ampanihy. Il n'en est rien. Le record est actuellement détenu par un géant de l'espèces grandidieri qui vit dans la forêt d'Andombiry au nord-est de Morombe. Ce baobab s'appelle Tsitakakoike. Il atteint l'incroyable circonférence de 27,30 mètres, soit presque 4 mètres de plus que celui d'Ampanihy de l'espèce za. Son âge est estimé entre 1300 et 1500 ans par datation au radiocarbone. Le géant commence à être connu et visité par quelques touristes. Il est sacré et respecté depuis longtemps par les habitants de l'endroit. Difficile de ne pas se sentir petit face à une telle merveille de la nature. C'est le second baobab le plus ancien de l'île puisque le doyen est âgé de 1600 ans et appartient à une autre espèce, Adansonia rubrotispa. Ce très vieux baobab s'appelle "grand-mère" et vit plus au sud dans le parc national de Tsimanampetsotsa.

    THE BIGGEST BAOBAB KNOWN IN MADAGASCAR IS DYING

    The name of the giant is Tsitakakoike and it measures 27.30 meters in circumference. It would be between 1300 and 1500 years old! At the beginning of the year it was struck by lightning and lost three of his five main branches. In the photographs, we clearly observe the damage. It should only survive one or two years at most.

    It has long been thought that Madagascar's largest baobab was living in the south of the island in the Ampanihy region. It is not so. The record is currently held by a baobab of grandidieri species who lives in the forest of Andombiry near Morombe town. This baobab names Tsitakakoike reaches the incredible circumference of 27.30 meters, nearly 4 meters higher than the one of Ampanihy of the za species. Its ages would be between 1300 and 1500 years. The giant begins to be known and visited by some tourists. It is sacred and respected for a long time by the inhabitants of the place. Hard not to feel small in front of such a wonder of mother nature. It is the second oldest dated baobab on the red island since the oldest is 1600 years old and belongs to another species, Adansonia rubrotispa. This very old baobab is called “Grandmother” and lives further south in the Tsimanampetsotsa national park.
