外交部吳部長今天早上依蔡總統指示，致電 AIT孫曉雅處長，代表我國政府與人民向罹難美軍與家屬表達哀悼，在此困難時刻台灣堅定地與美國站在一起！

外交部也對於不幸傷亡的無辜阿富汗平民，表達沉痛與不捨，呼籲阿富汗各方保持和平理性，尊重生命財產安全，避免衝突擴大。我們也將持續與理念相近國家合作，共同抵抗任何形式的恐怖主義攻擊行動！

MOFA condemns the terrorist attack at Kabul airport on August 26 in the strongest terms and would like to express our concern and condolences to the US and Afghan nationals affected and their families.

Minister Joseph Wu reached out to AIT Director Sandra Oudkirk on direction from President Tsai Ing-wen earlier today, to represent the government and the people of Taiwan in expressing our condolences to the families of the US soldiers killed in the attack and to wish those injured a quick recovery.

Taiwan stands with the US at this difficult time and will continue to work with like-minded partners to do our part to fight terrorism. It is our hope that peace and rationality will prevail and that the lives and property of the people on the ground in Afghanistan will be respected.

艱難時刻，台灣一直都在！

我國友邦海地日前發生芮氏規模7.2大地震，駐海地古文劍大使於第一時間代表台灣向昂利總理表達慰問，外交部吳部長也電話聯絡海地外長喬塞德，表達台灣與人民的關心及賑災的意願。

台灣與海地建交65年，關係密切友好，我國基於人道關懷及雙邊深厚邦誼，決定捐贈50萬美元協助賑災，同時持續與海地政府保持聯繫，配合海國政府所提需求，結合國內民間慈善力量，共同協助海國賑災及重建工作！

MOFA would like to express our heartfelt condolences to the people of Haiti in the wake of the recent earthquake there. Our ambassador in Haiti reached out to Prime Minister Ariel Henry at the first opportunity to express concern and condolences for our ally on behalf of the people and the government of Taiwan at this difficult time. Minister Joseph Wu also contacted the country's Foreign Minister Claude Joseph to express our solidarity and to offer any help that the country might require.

Given the scale of the disaster, with many lives lost, buildings collapsed and transportation links cut off, Taiwan will donate US$500,000 to help with the recovery effort.
