#'99年にスクウェアが発売した、PS用RPG作品。SFC末期の大作RPG『クロノ・トリガー』と同シリーズとされるソフト。
今作ではパラレルワールドがテーマとなっており、少し異なる2つの世界を冒険するRPGとなっており、主人公の出身世界である「ホーム」と、よく似た異世界である「アナザー」を行き来することで進行していく。

ゼノギアスにも匹敵するほど複雑なシナリオであり、キャラクターの台詞や前作の用語を注意深く観察していなければ意味不明になる。
クロノ・トリガーの続編として宣伝されたためか、何かと比較される傾向にあるが一つの作品として見るならば十分良作と言える出来栄え。

BGMは光田氏が作曲、民族楽器をつかった独創的な音楽となっている。
