"In addition to my assignments, I have pursued stories of personal significance. I paid my own way often to create this work, and ultimately it was this work which moved me forward in this business. For this project, I wanted to photograph Native Americans because I was raised with little connection to my heritage. From the people I photographed, I learned about courage and survival. I learned there were great stories to tell that aren't taught in school. I was embraced as a daughter of this heritage.
When I was coming up in the business of photography, there were few grants, if any, specifically supporting women photographers.

So many stories which have been ignored can blossom because of these grants. Nurul Jannah Jamian was one of the cheerful lot who attended my last physical Thermomix Cooking demos before the MCO 3.0 was implemented and now… she’s not just a customer … but a knowledgeable Sales Advisor under Team D'varomas TM6.

I've watched her bloom as she continues to say YES to all tasks and assignments for the group.

Take today as an example.

I found out a few days ago thats she attended a short "Phone Photography Course" and I asked her if she is ok to share her tips to the team this evening.

With no hesitation, she said “InshaAllah yes”

I notice those who are givers and sharers … yang suka volunteer buat kerja and tak putus asa when shit hits the fan…are the resilient lot who succeeds in life.

Some of you asked me where I got my personalised D’Varomas apron from.

We ordered from her lah. Elok dia buat. Now we are in the midst of finalising more plans for 2022.

十一週的課程
每週都有資料量很大的教材與補充與指定教科書章節研讀
五次Assignments，我每次至少需要三個整天才敢交作業
隔週還會有線上議題討論，一個題目我寫個一千字很多了，偏偏就有同學會寫五千一萬字…………
五次zoom meeting線上課程，對我來說叫做化學聽力測驗（還好不必即席問答）

UC Davis的Winemaking Certificate Program一共有五個模組
並且要求有化學學分才能報讀
一個模組都至少要八週
像我這次Wine Production模組就要十一週
簡單說，這個線上課程不好混
這十一週常常唸書唸到心灰意冷越唸越不懂
尤其班上同學超過半數都已經是現任釀酒師或是酒廠實驗室人員
壓力山大
最後我平均分數以Grade A作收
算是給自己一個交代
但也忍不住想其他同學該不會全滿分過關吧

已經完成兩個模組
秋季學分班繼續努力吧！

Đặc biệt là trong video "Study with Me" lần này, mình sẽ sử dụng phương pháp ???????? cực kì hiệu quả cho bạn nào dễ mất tập trung lúc làm việc đó! Điều cực kì tốt ở phương pháp này chính là sẽ chỉ cần tập trung học/ làm việc trong 25 phút thôi, sau đó sẽ nghỉ 5 phút và liên tục lặp lại quá trình. Khi mọi người chỉ cần tập trung 25 phút thôi thì mọi thứ sẽ đơn giản hơn và kiến thức được tiếp thu cực kì hiệu quả đó! Đây cũng là phương pháp thích hợp cho bạn nào đang có quá nhiều việc nha! Vì mọi người có thể chia nhỏ các tasks ra và hoàn thành từng task trong 25 phút nên sẽ có nhiều động lực và sự tập trung hơn kakkaa ^^~~
