Theoretically, the time when the maximum value appears in the TOCO signal is
the same as the time of EMG data. Then, we set the max signal of the correspon
ding time in EMG as a threshold. Therefore, in EMG signal, any signal value hi
gher than the threshold at other times is considered to be caused by the elect
rodes being hit or the pregnant woman turning over or moving. When we find out
these abnormal peaks, we do not delete the signal directly, because this will
cause the signal to be discontinuous. We use the median of previous-5-second-
window to replace the abnormal peaks. It is a common local-processing method f
