Feng Shui & Your Diet (English version below)

    ------------------------

Wealth, lust, fame, food and sleep have always been the five dominant desires of mankind. It does not matter whether you are a Buddhist, a spiritual cultivator or not. To be a free and happy man with no afflictions and at ease, you have to alter your state of mind. If the five desires are harmful and obstruct us, why am I writing about this topic? My sole intention stems from the Four Boundless Minds of Benevolence, Compassion, Joy and Equanimity. I, Master Dai Hu, had mentioned in previous articles that fame and wealth are never my motivation for learning Chinese Metaphysics. It is pure interest and spiritual cultivation that propel me in this direction. If I am driven by wealth and fame, do you think you can engage me on such a short notice?

In the past few years, I have seen many people wasted their health, and almost broke the bank in the process, due to indiscriminate eating and drinking. Some nearly paid with their lives! One of the deepest impressions I had had to be this middle-aged lady boss, who knew of me through my old disciple and wanted to engage me for destiny analysis and change of name. Before we met in person formally, she had already told me of her health issues in our telephone exchanges. This was her reason for wanting to engage my service. I am never one to mince my words, or beat around the bush, during my Feng Shui or destiny analysis consultation sessions. When I met her in real-life, my observation of her facial aura tallied with my analysis of her birth chart. Both pointed to only one thing indeed - sickness.

Even though I had helped in curing her illness and healing her life, she remained an avid fan of seafood, a fact she readily admitted when I first asked her directly. I told her truthfully that based on her birth chart, seafood was a definite no-no for her. I shall leave it up to her if she believe in my words or not. This true account has testified that all illnesses really begin with the food we eat and to know the kind of food we can or cannot eat, the true answer lies in your birth chart.

During the Reunion Dinner on the Eve of Lunar New Year, some dishes are always present: chicken, duck, fish, pork, tau kua, Pen Cai, etc. Why is that so? Of course, these dishes carry their own auspicious significance, but the real reason lies in the Feng Shui behind these food. All parents in this world hope for their children to achieve greatness, like the Chinese saying of "High hope for the son to become the Dragon, and daughter the Phoenix". Hidden in these sumptuous delicacies lies the fortunes of academic success, overflowing wealth, abundance, successful careers and businesses, and bountiful harvest. However, it is better to align what you eat to your individual birth chart. Hurry now and consult your Master for guidance to Feng Shui and your diet!
