今日的《多益片語》來介紹有關「渴望~」的片語。
anxious本身除了有"焦慮的"意思之外，還有"渴望的"意思。
基本上用法分三類：

1. be anxious "for" + N
= be longing for + N
= be eager for + N
= be yearning for + N
= has a yearning for + N

📖補充例句：
✏️Helen is eager for success.
海倫渴望成功。

✏️Richard has a yearning for a quiet life.
理查嚮往寧靜的生活。
(yearning作名詞用)

2. be anxious "to" + V
= be eager to + V
= be longing to + V
= has a yearning to + V

📖補充例句：
✏️Teresa was eager to visit my mom.
德瑞莎急於來拜訪我母親。

✏️She has been longing to go to Tokyo.
她一直都很想去東京。

3. be anxious "that" + 子句
= be eager that + 子句

📖補充例句：
✏️My parents were anxious that I go to college.
我父母非常期望我上大學。
