Don't worry about your attire - just wear your oldest T-shirt, socks that you can just throw away right after, and shoes (not flip flops) that you won't feel heartache when you wear it in water. That's because after entering, you will swim a little bit in shoes, then wear your socks throughout the whole cave exploration. The tour guide will carry everybody's cameras in his dry bag, so once you are dry enough, you can get back your camera and take pictures of the spooky yet amazing cave. . I was there with a tour, and all tourists had to line up in front of this cave entrance to get in. The woman in front of me suddenly told me she was scared and couldn't breath when we were waddling through the water - she was claustrophobic. I put my hands onto her shoulders, held her close to me and told her, "See? You are with me, everything's ok. And I'm not going to let you go. You are not alone. Let's breath normally together now." We became friends, met on Caye Caulker again later after, and we spent some very great happy times together.
