How do I describe the Doctor?
Doctor Who is out of this world. Literally. An alien from Gallifrey who is a time lord that travels in a time machine called the T.A.R.D.I.S (Time And Relative Dimension In Space) to save planets in the universe in the nick of time. He does not use a gun but instead a screwdriver. Eh you say? Well, that's just the beginning of the eccentricity of Dr Who. 😏
The Dr Who tv series started in the 1960's and thanks to the Doctor's regenerative abilities we are able to still follow him on his intergalactic adventures.
The lastest franchise of the Dr Who BBC tv series was rekindled in the early 2000's picking up from the 9th Doctor. I decided to begin with Season 1 although I was told there no need because it was lacking in the CGI department back then. However after watching a few episode, I was already hooked and you just can't help but love the British tongue and cheek humour and plots of each episode. Fast forward to the fifth season where Dr Who is played by Matt Smith and his companion is Amelia Pond, the series begins to catch up with the latest CGI technology and everything looks more realistic.
Whomever your favourite Doctor maybe, a Doctor Who fan will tell you that he's as a British as they come and he is a fictional legend in a category of his own right next to James Bond. I like the Doctor because he was always so philosophical and quirky in an adorable way that kept me glued to the screen from season 1 to season 8. Thanks to @iflixmy I got to watch over 100 episodes of Dr Who including the Christmas specials and the anniversary bonus episodes that has made me rethink about time and space. Hmmmmm.... wonder if it's too late for me to become an astronaut? Oh well, I'm still saving up to buy a ticket on board Richard Branson's commercial flights to the moon, so perhaps my dream of meeting aliens like Dr Who will come true. Haha. Berangan kena kuat. 😜
Right. All jokes aside. Now where did I put the key to the Tardis? Anyone know?
