Syukur Alhamdulillah, sejak dua minggu lepas, 284,496 orang telah berjaya didaftarkan oleh Southern Volunteers bagi tujuan Pendaftaran Vaksin.

Tahniah dan terima kasih saya ucapkan kepada semua pihak termasuklah Southern Volunteers yang turun padang dan bekerjasama untuk membantu rakyat.

Secara keseluruhan 80% daripada rakyat Johor telah mendaftar untuk vaksinasi. Saya berharap kita dapat mencapai tahap 85% pada akhir bulan ini.

Saya yakin dengan usaha dan muafakat semua pihak khususnya, Pegawai Daerah, Datuk Bandar, Yang Di-Pertua Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan, Pemimpin Masyarakat, Penghulu, Ketua Kampung, Ahli majlis, dan semua pertubuhan belia dan NGO di negeri Johor yang telah menggembeleng tenaga supaya imuniti kelompok dapat dicapai secepat mungkin. InsyaAllah kita akan terus berusaha untuk meningkatkan lagi kadar pendaftaran dan vaksinasi ini.

Syukur Alhamdulillah, 284,496 people have been registered by the Southern Volunteers for the Vaccination Registration Programme in the past two weeks.

I would like to congratulate and thank everyone involved including the Southern Volunteers who have worked together tirelessly to help the rakyat.

Overall, 80% of Johoreans have registered for the vaccines. I hope we can achieve the 85% mark at the end of this months.

I am confident in the efforts and unity of all parties especially District Officers, Mayors, Yang Di-Pertua of Local Authorities, Community Leaders, Chiefs, Village Heads, Councilors, and all youth organizations and NGOs in Johor who have mobilised to ensure herd immunity can be achieved as soon as possible. InsyaAllah we will continue the work to further increase the registration and vaccination rates.

Menjunjung kasih DYAM Tunku Mahkota Johor yang menitahkan supaya Southern Volunteers digerakkan membantu proses Pendaftaran Vaksin rakyat Johor.

Syukur Alhamdulillah. Hari ini Johor telah mencapai 80% pendaftaran vaksin. Tahniah buat semua pihak termasuklah Southern Volunteers yang turun padang bertungkus lumus membantu rakyat membuat pendaftaran sepanjang 20 hari yang lalu. InsyaAllah kita akan terus bersama berusaha untuk meningkatkan lagi kadar peratusan ini.

Pada masa yang sama, hari ini saya berkesempatan bertemu Southern Volunteers di Pusat Pemberian Vaksin (PPV) Pekan Nenas di Dewan Tunku Ibrahim Ismail, Pontian.

Kami juga bergerak dari rumah ke rumah bersama menyampaikan bantuan bakul makanan dan membantu rakyat untuk Pendaftaran Vaksin.

Saya juga sempat melawat Pusat Gerobok Rezeki yang akan dibuka di setiap mukim di daerah Pontian. Jika anda memerlukan bantuan makanan boleh menghubungi ketua kampung dan penghulu kawasan masing-masing.

“Democracy is a failure” - that’s the narrative the Chinese Communist Party has been trying to plant over the past year and hopes to take root in international discourse and in the minds of its 1.4 billion citizens. This disinformation has heavy implications for democracy in Taiwan, and it’s never been as serious as it is now.

CCP disinformation methods are detailed in a report issued late last year titled “Deafening Whispers” by Doublethink Lab, a Taiwanese organization whose mission is to strengthen democracy through digital defense. The report has just been made available in English.

This interview was recorded in January 2021 when the Chinese-version of the report was first published.

In 2019, according to the Pentagon, China launched more ballistic missiles for testing and training than the rest of the world combined. It did it through its newly minted rocket force, the People's Liberation Army Rocket Force - acronym P-L-A-R-F.

PLARF is a critical component of China's nuclear deterrence strategy to deter and counter third-party intervention in regional conflicts. China's current defense minister, General Wei Fenghe, knows missiles. He was previously the commander of the predecessor of PLARF before PLARF was reorganized and given its new name.

Mark Stokes is our guest today. He is executive director of the Project 2049 Institute, a think tank based in Washington, DC. Mr. Stokes is a 20-year United States Air Force veteran who served in intelligence planning and policy roles.
