這次在黃石公園的時間不算非常充裕，大約三個整天，所以只選擇在公園西邊和北邊的景點走。

由Salt Lake City租車出發，雖然目的地是Yellowstone National Park。但我們選擇先從Grand Teton National Park進去(blue line)，可以在Jackson那邊吃飯休息，天數多一點的話也建議在這裡停一晚。從這裡進黃石沿路風景也比從I-15北上到West Yellowstone美麗的多。

我們是住在West Yellowstone西邊約20分鐘的Ranch。飯店普普，算是乾淨，所以沒有期待太高。不過旁邊有一個湖和早晚來問候的小狐狸算是大大的加分。

行程中有一天我們從西邊入口進來，北邊出口出去到Livingston, MT，然後走I-90經過Bozeman到Big Sky，再回West Yellowstone(purple line)。Livingstion是曾經美國中西部鐵路貨運的一個重鎮，現在人口中藝術家和作家的比例相當高，讓這個小鎮多了點藝文氣息。Bozeman則是想要直接搭飛機來黃石公園最近的機場，算是很熱鬧的城市。但這路線重點是Big Sky，那裡有多家精釀啤酒廠(推薦Beehive Brewery)，也是冬天年輕人去滑雪的聖地，夏天則可以釣魚，hiking，是一個很hipster的小鎮。

回程就走I-15南下，中間可以在Idaho Falls小鎮停留(green line)，Hot Spring Pho的越南粉很好吃！還有一定要去Great Harvest Bakery吃他們現出爐的土司麵包。只要有任何purchase他們就會送一片約4-5公分厚的吐司，然後一大碗奶油隨你塗。

回到Slat Lake City其實也有很多活動和去處。不像傳說中摩門教聖地那麼無聊。改天再來介紹。
