這波疫情中，我們常會祝福身旁的人平安健康，但你會用英文說嗎？雖然端午連假，也許我們無法與家人實體碰面，但可以向他們表達問候與祝福！❤️

讓我們看一段聖經經文的中英版本：
親愛的，我祝你凡事亨通，身體健壯💪，正如你的靈魂安泰一樣。(約參2，新譯本)

Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit. (NLT)

Dear friend, I pray that you are doing well in every way and have good health, just as your soul is doing well. (EHV)

主譯解析：
1. 「希望」除了可用 hope 外，也可以用 pray

Pray 不只有「祈禱/禱告」的意思，也可以指「強烈希望某事發生」（好像為這事祈禱一般🙏）

（hope 或 pray 若接子句，後面的 that 通常會省略）

浩爾註：對話情境中 pray 比起 hope 正式，有點文言感

2. 祝「凡事順利/一切安好」，可以說：
I hope all is well with you / you are doing well.

尤其在書信往來的開頭，特別常使用。下次傳訊息關心老外時，不妨試試！

若要祝人「心靈平安」，可以說
I hope you are doing well spiritually😇

浩爾註： spiritually 有屬靈方面的意思

3. 祝「身體健康」可以說
I hope you have/enjoy good health
或 I hope/pray you are in good health 💪
