    Doctors who have received their training outside Hong Kong may soon be allowed to practice in the city, as long as they are permanent residents and agree to work for at least five years in the public sector locally.

    政府早前推新方案放寬非本地培訓的港人醫生來港，符合指定資格可免執業試註冊。食物及衞生局局長陳肇始指非本地醫生須符4條件，包括是香港永久性居民；持有由非本地醫學院頒授獲承認的醫學資格；在本港公營機構註冊，並取得專科資格後工作至少5年等。

    特首林鄭月娥將立法引入更多非本地培訓醫生，根據立法會最新文件，政府會成立委員會制訂一張認可醫學院名單，初步構思醫學院數目100間內；由該些醫學院畢業的香港永久性居民，在當地獲取醫生註冊資格或專科醫生資格，之後在醫管局等公營機構工作5年，便可在港獲正式註冊。
