The Pilot （試飛員）

This is the first upload in a series of videos where I share older songs, unreleased material and half-written songs, ideas etc to stave off the boredom while we are all trapped inside during Covid-19. Hopefully we won’t be
stuck in this situation much longer!

知道大家都在家有點無聊，所以我會開始在家錄一些我的老歌，還沒發行的歌，一些想法和沒寫完的歌，跟大家分享一下。希望這個糟糕病毒趕快過去！這個是我第一個視頻，叫《The Pilot》（試飛員）

I wrote this song about 10 years ago. I was in a situation where I was being pushed into something I didn’t want to do by people who didn’t know what they were doing, and where all the danger was being placed on my shoulders. I felt like a lab rat, useful to experiment on, but ultimately expendable.

我大概十年前寫的這首歌，我被迫去做我不想做的事，他們也並不知道自己在做什麼，但我卻要承擔這所有的後果。我感覺自己像是個小白鼠，任人實驗和宰割。

This song links those feelings to being a parachute test pilot: if things go wrong, they just scrape you off the ground, and move on to the next guy, but if it goes right, you get back in the plane, and have to do it all over again.

這首歌把那些感情聯繫到跳傘的試飛員。如果失敗了，那你就完蛋了而別人不會受到任何影響，繼續用下一個試飛員就好。如果成功，你就再上飛機，跳下去，如此反复著。
