現在看到無戴口罩的expats，總會有種莫名的煩躁。因為他們很像缺乏公德的中國人。

係，佬編聽過這是文化差異（cultural differences），外國人覺得患病的人才要戴口罩。

但，擺在眼前的事實，是病毒有很長的潛伏期，而且就算確診，也不一定有病徵。而口罩，在人多的地方確實有阻隔飛沫傳播的作用。

漠視這個現實，而宣稱是「文化差異」，其實與隨地便溺，而辯稱是鄉下習俗，沒有多大分別。

但又咁講，不戴口罩與文化差異或許沒有關係。在無罩expats的眼中，這恐怕是一種表現自己眾人皆醉我獨醒（smart ass）的方式。

在他們眼中，香港人是過度恐慌的。政府和世衛都說不用戴罩，香港人卻還在兩盒thx。在先進社會的溫室長大的他們，沒有想過政府和世界組織，是可以腐敗、是可以被收買的。這種近乎盲目的樂觀和信心，令佬編想起那班高呼相信政府的農村大媽。

或者是佬編太過法西斯了。無罩expats可能才是被壓迫（oppressed）的一群。雖然他們拿著比本地打工仔高的薪水和福利，但他們可能不懂中文和廣東話，在本地沒有買到口罩的途徑（access）。

而要他們在街上排隊拿口罩，也很不合理。這些expats離鄉別井、平日忙於工作，下班又要hh（happy hour）應酬，如何分身去排個口罩呢？我們還要站在道德高地去批判他們，實在不夠包容（inclusive）。

但仔細想想，無罩expats的確是不用戴口罩的。他們在香港只是個過客，賺夠就可以走，還有必要去同情理解香港滿城戴罩的原因嗎？他們沒有entertain我們的需要。

從這個意義上看，無罩expats與我們不喜歡的缺德中國人，其實是同一類人。

【我們整個世代會開創新的前路】

日前，一群音樂人集體創作出歌曲 Bauhinia Rhapsody（紫荊狂想曲），以歌曲聲援香港抗爭者。創作人發表聲明，望香港人攜手衝破困局，重掌未來，永遠以身為香港人而自豪。今日於網上發表MV，影像由曾炮製多段反送中文宣動畫短片的「#一班熱愛香港的創作人」操刀。

這城街巷，今天只有殘留的軀殼，揭穿了一個前人未曾想我們繼承的殘局。無人問：「為甚麼會變成這樣？」但答案，我們都了然於胸。月復月、日復日，每個衝擊點滴累積成集體壓抑 ──鐵血的制度不止壓下染血的警棍、被爆的頭顱，也壓下真相。

Dead streets, a shell of what once was - denying what could be - reveals a legacy that our great ancestors never wanted us to inherit. “How did it get this way?” Nobody asks; we already know the answers, repeated and beaten into our collective anxieties month after month and day after day. The truth wielded like a bloody truncheon, cracking skulls of the systemically oppressed.

I’ll tell you how I really feel. I’m scared. Scared to imagine a future where all my freedoms are taken away because I know what I’ve lost. And even so, that is nothing compared to imagining a future for a generation where they’ve no idea what freedom is. In fact, this is the present for many already, their birth right was stolen by weak men and women who deem independent thought and ideas too dangerous, and will go so far as to run tanks over any who break this narrative they desperately cling to.

But I’ll tell you what. I’m not scared of them; when I see the youth of Hong Kong and those behind them rally fearlessly in what they believe in, spitting in the face of apathy and police brutality, we’ve an entire generation who will pave ahead a time where history doesn’t repeat itself - repeat the cruelty of our would-be masters.

You who continue this protest, know that you are incredible. Ignore the hate, reject the ignorance, take each step forward with pride - pride that we control our own future. We should be forever proud to be known as Hongkongers.

二十年前嘅七月一日，香港再度淪陷。早喺七十年代，港人理所當然嘅自決權已經被無理剝奪。當年中國啱啱加入聯合國，即刻要求將香港剔出殖民地名單，英國亦都袖手旁觀，縱容中國褫奪我哋嘅基本人權。其後，中英談判展開，港人被拒諸門外，港人對未來嘅訴求亦被冷眼相待。之後，中英兩國簽訂《中英聯合聲明》，香港主權將移交中國，港人縱然感到惶恐不安，但係前途命運已經塵埃落定，同砧上之肉一樣，只能夠接受現實。當年港人奢望《基本法》能夠冰封香港五十年，保留當時嘅自由、法治、制度。但係，經歷廿年嘅浩劫，我哋必須認清 － 《基本法》無改香港淪為中國殖民地嘅事實。

On 1 July twenty years ago, the advent of the transfer of sovereignty meant the fall of Hong Kong once again. In the 1970s, we were already deprived of our right to self-determination. Once China entered the United Nations, Hong Kong was removed from the list of Colonial Territories. Conniving in the process, Britain stood by. China and Britain then started their negotiations on Hong Kong’s future, and Hong Kong people were barred from participating throughout the course. When the Sino-British Joint Declaration was signed and the sovereignty of Hong Kong was decided to be transferred to China, anxiety spread through society, but our fate had been resolved, and we were left with no choice but accepting the reality. Hong Kong people then put their faith in the Basic Law to freeze Hong Kong for fifty years, keeping the freedom, rule of law and systems at that time intact. Yet, falling to the scourge of the Chinese rule for twenty years, we must now realize the fact – the Basic Law in no way changes the reality that Hong Kong is now a colony of China.

For twenty years, China has been assimilating Hong Kong in an attempt to denigrate Hong Kong as just another city of China and a tool to the communist regime. The government of Hong Kong has never been responsible to Hong Kong people, as the head of the government, be it the Governor or the Chief Executive, is accountable only to the suzerain. The One-way Permit scheme has become the main channel for Chinese to settle down in Hong Kong, and yet, Hong Kong people are denied from our right to determine on the number, vetting and approval on the application. We are thus forced to experience such population transfer. Our Hong Kong identity is perpetually suppressed under the attempts to introduce national education to indoctrinate Chinese identity and Putonghua as the medium of instruction to debase Cantonese that is our mother tongue. Chinese capital are now flagrantly invading Hong Kong and making bullish bids of our land, creating intricate structures with interests in different sectors. While we are suffering from such re-colonisation, the Basic Law and the framework of One Country, Two Systems have never been the bastion protecting us.

If we still cling on to the Basic Law and One Country, Two Systems, we are doomed to self-destruction. As the puppet regime of communist China in Hong Kong condemned ‘One Country, Two Governments’ as related to advocating independence, it is now clear that anything that may undermine the totalitarian rule of China will be oppressed, and even the Basic Law and One Country, Two Systems cannot be the path to a brighter future. In fact, to blindly put faith in the Basic Law and One Country, Two Systems has no difference from deceiving oneself and wasting one’s own precious time to emancipate ourselves from re-colonisation. As 2047 is approaching, we are left with thirty years’ time, and we have no time to lose. To stoutly resist the Chinese regime, we must not restrain our imagination towards our future within the framework of One Country, Two Systems. Together we shall struggle against the enemy and restore the glory of our Hong Kong.

有些人會說：「如果朝鮮不是獨裁國家的話，為什麼不給外國旅客自由行呢？為什麼大部分電腦都沒連上境外的互聯網呢？」我希望那些人從不同的角度來思考這些問題。二戰期間的同盟國會開放自己的國家給德國、意大利和日本觀光客自由行嗎？別忘了，朝鮮戰爭只有停火，沒有停戰。

假如互聯網是在 1930 年代的德國發明的，而非 20 世紀下半葉的美國，而德國情報機構能暗中監督和控制一切連上該網路的任何設備（正如斯諾登透露美國國安局所做的那樣），同盟國會讓一般老百姓連上同個互聯網嗎？還是他們會跟朝鮮一樣建設自己的網路？

朝鮮是個小國家。雖然它從 1953 年一直呼籲正式停戰，但它從 1950 年到現在一直與大部分西方國家處於戰爭狀態。只要戰爭狀態不變，這些政策不是「反自由」的，而是任何理性的政府（無論是資本主義國家還是社會主義國家）會施行的防禦性措施。

饒舌的激進份子 被說是憤世
The radical rapper is said to be cynical.

我只想引人深思 和去偽存實
I just want to get people to think, cast aside falsities, and retain the truths,

因為從小到大有太多虛偽人士
because througout our lives, too many hypocrites

灌輸錯誤認識 使人愚昧無知
have instilled false understandings, causing us to ignorantly

地無視 顯而易見 的壓迫和暴行
disregard the clearly visible oppression and atrocities,

使人固執己見 而失去批判思考力
causing us to stubbornly cling to our own opinions and lose our ability to think critically.

一旦遇到陌生的意見 認知就失調
When we encounter unfamiliar opinions, we experience cognitive dissonance.

變本加厲地延伸原本的錯誤視角
Doubling down on our mistaken views

成為了心理防禦機制 也使我們無意識地
has become a psychological defense mechanism which causes us to unknowingly

成為壓迫自己的體制的棋子
become pawns of the system that oppresses us

即使我們自以為自己是正義的義士
although we think of ourselves as just and morally courageous people,

但其實是我們迷失於斷章取義的歷史
it is actually us who are lost in deliberately misinterpreted history.

而敵視 並歧視 被壓迫的各國人民
We vilify and discriminate against the oppressed peoples of all countries;

自以為仁義 卻把壓迫者 奉若神明
we think we are righteous, yet we deify the oppressors.

不分明侵略和防禦只要求無條件的和平
We don't differentiate between aggression and defense, we simply ask for unprincipled peace,

得到奴隸主的肯定不過不被他們尊敬
gaining the approval of slave masters but not their respect.

監禁率最高的國家被當作自由象徵
The country with the highest incarceration rate is considered to be a symbol of freedom;

最常推翻民選政府的它被當作摯友良朋
we call it our friend as it leads in overthrowing democratically elected governments.

我們只有盲人摸象般稱頌或貶斥
We make praises and criticisms based on conclusions made from bad information,

偏執地不檢視騙子掩飾的現實
stubbornly refusing to investigate the truths hidden by liars.

別人飢餓 我們說是領導人無人性
When others starve, we say their leaders are devoid of humanity

卻不記得制裁的目的 是經過餓死人民
while failing to remember that the goal of sanctions is to sabotage stability

破壞穩定 以迫使 革命群眾 放棄革命
through starvation in order to extort the revolutionary masses into giving up revolution.

如果這不是恐怖主義 那麼你的定義可能有問題
If this isn't terrorism, then your definition might be flawed.

我問你 唯一動用核武器的到底是誰？
I ask you, who is the only one to have used nuclear weapons?

為何朝鮮發展核武就被認為是罪？
Why is it considered a crime when (DPR) Korea develops nukes?

誰的奴性思維被支配得顛倒是非
