進入了第26年...⁣ ⁣ 在1年半前剛搬到台灣時，我很緊張也害怕。我一直是一個非常喜歡社交的人，但是搬到一個不同語言、不同文化的國家確實讓我感到恐懼。我不知道我能不能跟同年齡的台灣人相處在一起，更不用說有一個關係親密的團體了。不知道我的破爛中文會不會讓我沒辦法跟別人溝通，讓我交不到朋友。⁣ ⁣ 不過，上週末，一群朋友幫我慶祝了生日，這些朋友是我訓練時的夥伴、我的翻譯（我每一個標題都是 @fffjjj22558 從英文幫我翻譯到語文 🙇🏻‍♂️），我的支持、旅行夥伴，也是最好的朋友。雖然我們只認識了一年多一點，但我沒辦法想像沒有他們的生活。⁣ ⁣ 致我的夥伴：謝謝你們，謝謝你們給了我第二個家🥰謝謝你們跟我一起慶祝生日，在晚飯後到家裡來玩桌遊，而不是去夜店/酒吧😂 我愛你們大家〜⁣ ⁣ 然後...給我的生日夥伴 @bling0123 一個額外特別的生日快樂！能跟你在同一天生日真的是太幸運了🎂🎉⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ 最後，要謝謝我的 @anna_baatz 辛苦製作我最愛口味的蛋糕給我吃😘真的超好吃～ ⁣ ⁣ —————————————————⁣————⁣ ⁣ Onto year 26...⁣ ⁣ Before moving to Taiwan 1.5 years ago, I was nervous and scared as hell. I’ve always been a pretty social person, but moving to a new country with a whole new language and a completely different culture really intimidated me. I didn’t know if I’d be able to connect with Taiwanese people my age, let alone have a tightly-knit group. I didn’t know if my broken Chinese would hinder me from making bonds and friendships. ⁣ ⁣ Yet, this past weekend, I celebrated my birthday with a group of friends that have been my workout partners, my translators, my support system, my travel buddies, and my best friends since I came to Taiwan. And to think that I’ve only known them all for a little over a year truly blows my mind because I can’t imagine life without them. ⁣ ⁣ So to my crew, thank you guys. Thank you for being my home away from home 🥰 Thank you for celebrating my birthday with me and being down to play board games after dinner instead of going to a club/bar 😂 I love you all ~⁣ ⁣ Also, an extra special happy birthday to my birthday buddy @bling0123 !! Wouldn’t want to share a birthday with anyone else 🎂🎉⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ And lastly, special thanks to my bebu @anna_baatz for making me my favorite red velvet with cream cheese frosting cake 😘 It was seriously so damn good

☆A’s Daily 小哲日常☆⁣ ▼中文請往下▼⁣ ⁣ A sometimes still calls us by the wrong name. He’ll point at me and call me BABA and then point at my husband and call him MAMA. So we still need to correct him sometimes. And then he started to call us MA-BA 😅 not sure if he’s nervous and stutters it out or he’s found his own shortcut 🤣 because I can’t say he’s completely wrong.
