京極夏彥 Kyogoku Natsuhiko 生日快樂！

1963年生於日本北海道，曾在廣告公司擔任平面設計師，藝術總監。
1994年以妖怪推理小說《#姑獲鳥之夏》晉身日本文壇，旋即引起各界矚目。
1996年以「#百鬼夜行」系列第二作《#魍魎之匣》獲得第四十九屆日本推理作家協會獎，大受讀者歡迎。
