我們是基督徒。理工大學內的學生已被圍困一整夜，面對雙方強弱懸殊的武力，我們感到非常悲痛。耶穌教導我們，要愛惜世上每一個生命，在戰亂中作和平之子。因此，我們以誠懇的態度，懇請香港警察：

1. 立即停止使用實彈槍
2. 讓理工大學內的同學安全離去

To brothers and sisters in Christ,

This is a difficult time for us. The Hong Kong Polytechnic University has been mobbed by the HK police for a whole night. Students are unable to leave the campus and their lives are at risk.
Apart from prayers, we are now calling the support from every Christian to post an urgent declaration on social media platforms like whatsapp and facebook and so on.

The declaration is as follows:

We are Chrisitians. The students of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University has been mobbed by the HK police using extreme force and violence. The students have not much gear to defend. We feel very sad about this. As Jesus says, we should love every life in the world and be the Channel of Peace.

Therefore, we sincerely hope the HK Police Force to:
1. Stop using life ammunition
2. Let PolyU students leave safely
