有時候美味的食物不一定要很複雜。這道蒜香墨汁意粉需要的材料屈指可數，但已包含多層次的香氣和口感，簡單得來又惹味。

-- 蒜香墨汁意粉 Squid Ink Pasta --
材料 Ingredients：(二人份量 | Portions for 2)
橄欖油 Olive Oil｜ 3 tbsp + 2 tsp
洋蔥(切絲) Chopped onion｜1pc
蒜頭 Garlic | 3 cloves
墨汁意粉 Squid Ink Pasta| Portion for 2
堅果碎 Chopped nuts | 50 g
蛋黃 Yolks | 4 pcs
魚露 Fish Sauce | 1/4 tsp
做法 Method：
1. 首先開火，在鍋中加入少量橄欖油，加入洋蔥絲爆香，轉中火煮至棕楬為止 (約10至12分鐘)，之後那起備用。
2. 同時間，在一鍋沸水中加入適量的鹽，放入意粉煮約10分鐘 (時間會因已粉形狀和牌子而已，可參考你選用意粉的包裝上的說明)。
3. 在在另一個鍋中，加入橄欖油，爆香蒜片和辣椒碎，再放入洋蔥和堅果碎。關火，放旁備用。
4. 當意粉完成後，撈起放旁1分鐘稍微降溫。同時間，將蛋黃和橄欖油倒入大碗中拌勻備用。
5. 開火，將洋蔥加熱，放入意粉炒勻，加入適量魚露調味。再將意粉倒入蛋液中，快速拌勻，完成！
1. Saute onion over medium heat until brown. This will take around 10-12 minutes.
2. In a pot, bring water to a boil and add generous amount of salt. Cook pasta to al dente ( Please refer to the cooking instruction as printed on label )
3. In a frying pan or saute pan, add olive oil and garlic and crush chilli. Add onion and chopped nuts. Remove frying pan away from heat.
4. When pasta is cooked to al dente, leave it aside for about 1 minute. Mix yolks and olive oil in a large mixing bowl.
5. In a frying pan, saute onion and toss with pasta and add fish sauce for seasoning. Mix well and ready to serve.

研究顯示，「字彙力」和「學術寫作力」是非母語人士最有可能超越英語母語人士的兩個面向。尤其後者，英語母語人士也「必須」藉由後天系統性地學習，才能學得好。
要將學術語氣掌握好，有一個相對高效率的切入方法，就是從句塊開始學習。雖然各領域之中使用的詞彙會不一樣，但將個文意連結在一起的句塊，則不分領域其實大同小異。若我們能好好將這些句塊使用熟悉，我們不但能夠 1️⃣ 把語氣掌握地更好也可以 2️⃣ 讓閱讀論文者更專注在研究內容的要旨上。
從下面 3 組 Before-and-After pairs 大家可以看到，原先是沒有學過學術寫作的台灣學生寫出來的，後者為學習過後的版本，大家可以看看差異：

(After) Over the past 30 years, the connection (or lack thereof) between sugar and cancer has received considerable attention.
