It taught me, that people can tell you what they expect you to be but if you go down one day, they won't bother about you in any way. I've been focusing so much more on myself rather meagre words that others try to impact me. Nestled within Hong Kong’s public parks, Law Siu Fung, a local bodybuilder, lecturer and LGBT advocate poses confidently. Law plays the role of fitness instructor to their meagre male companion. Breaking stereotypes on gender and masculinity, the two models complement and learn from one another. Adorned in neon colors and extravagant accessories, they are unafraid to reveal their beauty and strength. They are the dazzling paradox to the city’s dull perspectives on sex and sexuality, simultaneously marking and making space for fluid possibilities and creativity. Finally, something good to eat around Cyberport! This sunny part of Hong Kong is known for its amazing sea views and fresh air (not to mention doggy parks!) but there's always been something missing in the restaurant scene there. This has been brought to a welcome end with the opening of Interval, which had already previously established itself in the heart of Central. The food here is now bigger and better, with a stone fire oven serving up some of the fluffiest and crispiest pizzas (check out those charred air bubbles!). Lobster pasta will be comfort food to visitors and residents alike to Cyberport, as will the tiramisu that has been making its rounds on social media. Served family style and scooped out of a serving tray, I happily observed that the proportion of lady fingers to cream cheese was around 50:50, much higher than the meagre 30:70 in most other places.
