本篇文章是探討一個前後端互相合作的設計模式，Backend For Frontend 簡稱為 BFF。

文章開頭，作者舉了一個常見的應用情境，假設團隊需要基於微服務的概念去設計一套電商系統，背後服務包括了購物車，訂單，產品，顧客...等不同類型的資料。
但是很容易後端所回傳的資料格式並不能完全直接符合前端的需求，這意味前端必須要維護一套邏輯來轉換資料格式來符合其需求。

基於這種情況，作者希望將前端這些轉換格式的邏輯給抽出來並且移動一個中間層來進行處理，而這個中間層也就是所謂的 BFF。
當前端需要請求一些資料時，前端會對 BFF 去發送 API，而此時 BFF 會執行下列行為

1. 呼叫對應的 backend 服務來獲得需要的資料
2. 根據前端的需求將獲得的資料進行格式轉換
3. 將轉換後的格式回傳前端

這種架構下，能夠讓前端的程式邏輯更為簡單與乾淨

接者作者針對 BFF 的架構又探討了幾個問題，分別

1. BFF 單純就是一個前後端中間的轉換介面
2. 前端 Team 要負責維護這個 BFF 的應用程式
3. 每個 BFF 就是針對一個前端，一個 UI 去設定，同時盡可能地讓前端程式碼保持單純與專注

Will this increase latency?
由於 BFF 就是一個前後端中間的轉換層，這是否意味所有請求都會需要花費更長的時間來處理，
答案是沒錯，每個請求只要經過愈多的節點整個花費時間會增加是不可避免的。
不過作者認為這個帶來的影響微乎其微，特別是當瀏覽器介面本身需要需要跟眾多沒有針對前端最佳化的服務取得資料時，BFF 帶來的影響基本上可以忽略。

此外，作者認為透過 BFF 的架構可以讓前端更容易得基於批次的概念來一口氣呼叫眾多後端服務同時於一個 reply 中取得全部所需的資料，甚至直接得更為方便呈現的資料格式。
作者提到這個特色針對 2G/3G 這種本身需要花上數秒鐘才可以建立連線的網路情況來說特別有效，減少向後建立連線的數量，反而能夠讓前端更有效率地去呈現畫面。

When to use a BFF for your applications
如同其他眾多的設計模式一樣， 使用 BFF 也是要依據團隊的使用情境與架構來判別。 假設團隊的應用程式是一個 monolithic 的架構，則 BFF 基本上幫不上什麼忙，帶來的好處微乎其微。
不過如果是基於微服務的架構的話，則 BFF 就有機會可以幫上忙。

大環境的健康、動物的健康、人類的健康，這是三環相扣缺一不可！一方有難則會失去平衡！而大自然失衡的原因是因為人類。人類因自身利益砍伐森林、製造浪費、過度獵捕，導致地球上排碳量不斷上升，氣候不斷上升，地球南北兩極這平衡地球氣溫的冷凍庫逐漸融解，這終將使水平面不斷上升，沿海的城市終將逐漸淹沒！珊瑚礁白化、海水酸化、氣候暖化等等的問題導致動物瀕臨絕種！接下來就是我們人類的健康，病毒的肆虐！

這種種都是因我們人類而起！

而影片中的科學家們也指出，若排碳量在2027年前不能減少，地球終將走向滅亡。

La terre destructrice s'est réchauffée ! Albinos! malade!

La santé de l'environnement général, la santé des animaux et la santé des êtres humains sont indispensables pour les trois maillons ! Si une partie est en difficulté, l'équilibre sera perdu ! La raison du déséquilibre de la nature est à cause des êtres humains. La déforestation dans l'intérêt personnel de l'humanité, la production de déchets et la chasse excessive ont conduit à l'augmentation continue des émissions de carbone sur la terre et à l'augmentation continue du climat. Les pôles nord et sud de la terre, qui équilibrent la température de la terre, sont fonte progressivement, ce qui finira par faire monter le niveau de l'eau.Les villes côtières finiront par être submergées progressivement ! Le blanchissement des récifs coralliens, l'acidification de l'eau de mer, le réchauffement climatique et d'autres problèmes ont conduit les animaux au bord de l'extinction ! La prochaine étape, c'est la santé de nos êtres humains et la propagation du virus !

Ce genre de choses sont toutes à cause de nous, les humains !

Les scientifiques du film ont également souligné que si les émissions de carbone ne peuvent pas être réduites avant 2027, la terre finira par mourir.

【嚴正抗議 我國未獲邀出席WHA】

第74屆「世界衛生大會」（WHA）線上會議今天(5/24)開議，我國未獲邀以觀察員身分出席。外交部吳部長及衛福部陳部長共同表達我國政府嚴正不滿的抗議立場，並強調政府及全民持續積極爭取參與的堅定決心，同時也向國際社會對我國參與的強勁支持，表達誠摯謝意。

包括WHO在內的聯合國體系一再強調「不遺漏任何人」（Leave no one behind）的崇高目標，全球防疫不應有缺口，「世界衛生組織」（WHO）秘書處卻漠視2,350萬台灣人民的健康人權，也忽視國際挺台的聲音。健康是基本人權、普世價值，作為專業國際醫衛組織，WHO應為全人類健康福祉服務，不應屈從於特定會員的政治利益。

台灣未受邀參與WHA，不僅是台灣的損失，也是世界的損失，外交部呼籲WHO堅守專業中立，摒除中國政治干預，基於維護全人類福祉及共同抗疫的考量，早日讓台灣參與WHO各項會議、機制及活動，與全球共同促進人類的健康與安全。

MOFA would like to protest in the strongest terms its exclusion—even as an observer—from the 74th World Health Assembly which kicks off today.

MOFA Minister Joseph Wu protested the decision alongside Minister of Health and Welfare Chen Shih-chung, stating that the government and the people of #Taiwan will persevere in asserting their right to attend, while thanking all those in the international community who support Taiwan’s inclusion.

The UN system, including the WHO, continues to emphasize the ultimate goal of leaving no one behind, so that there might be no gap in global pandemic-prevention efforts; however the WHO ignores the rights of the 23.5 million Taiwanese people to health, as well as the international support for Taiwan’s participation. Health is a #HumanRight and as a professional organization dealing with #PublicHealth, the WHO should concern itself with the health and welfare of all mankind, instead of putting #PoliticsBeforeHealth.

Taiwan’s exclusion is not just a loss for Taiwan, but also a loss for the wider world, and MOFA asks that the WHO maintain professional neutrality, instead of ceding to political interference from the PRC.

如果警察停止濫暴，克盡厥職維護香港法治;

What if Hong Kong has a lot of “what if”……

What if police brutality never existed in HK , the Force remained steadfast in their duties to uphold law and order;
What if HK police’s shadowy network of triad gangs collapsed, the Force firmly carried out its mandate to maintain public safety;
What if HK police didn’t slam protestors by labeling “cockroach” and spreading death threats;
What if HongKonger could live without ‘white terror’ but with full respect of autonomy and freedoms;
What if true universal suffrage is committed for Hong Kong, which promotes fair and open competition;

Perhaps scenes of smiles and cheers would be vivid in our minds instead of chaos and bloodshed;
Perhaps Hong Kong could still be proud of its independent judiciary and reputation as one of the safest cities in the world;
Perhaps society would be filled with hopes and peace but not despair and desperation;
Perhaps Hong Kong could still serve as exemplar of freedom and beacon of hope;
Perhaps HongKonger would not be robbed of foundation of democracy - human rights and liberality.

Perhaps…. the young generation would not have to suffer from the unbearable and miserable situation today.


What if HongKonger never give up, perhaps we may unite to fight for our beliefs and strike for best result.
