    便利フレーズ「Take it from there」の意味と用法

    Take it from there・・・直訳すると「そこからそれを取る」になりますが、いまいち意味が良く分からないですよね？実はこれ、ネイティブの間ではよく使われる表現で、特にビジネスシーンでよく耳にします。使い方はとても簡単なのでこの機会にマスターしておきましょう。

    → 「そこから話を続ける」
    --------------------------------------------------　
    このフレーズは、具体的はことは後で決めることを意味します。すぐその場で即決せずに様子を見ながら後で決断したい場合によく使われ、特にビジネスシーンではとてもよく使われています。例えば、同僚と夜一緒に食事に行くことは決めたが、その場でレストランが決まらないとしましょう。その場合、「とりあえず今夜７時に会って、そこからどのレストランにするか決めましょう」と言う時に、「Let's meet at seven and we'll take it from there.」という具合に使われます。
    　
    ✔「Work out the details（中身を詰める）」も同様の意味。
