Enjoy Happiness Now

“Not that I speak in respect to lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. Don’t postpone your happiness to the future.

“When I am rich, I will be happy.” Really? King Solomon is by today’s standards a trillionaire and he was not happy. Read about it in the Book of Ecclesiastes. He indulged in every worldly comfort and pleasure possible, and yet he concluded that it was all vanity of vanities, grasping after the wind.

Happiness is not about being rich or poor. It is about having Christ in you and with you.

“This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.” (John‬ ‭17:3‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

As a believer, you know God not as a distant person, but a good Father who loves you and is on your side. To the world who does not know Him, He is still the Judge who punishes the wicked. They do not have the kind of relationship that we enjoy with Him.

Start enjoying your relationship with Abba God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit today. You can pray, and God will show you amazing truths, advice for the future, and help you with whatever you need.

A life without God is an empty life, like always eating but never being able to satisfy that hunger.

When you have Jesus as Lord, you have the Bread of Life, the living bread from Heaven to feed on. His words in the Scriptures, the Lord’s Supper, are true food that nourish you in many ways.

Perhaps happiness is having an unlimited supply of this heavenly food, so that your spiritual hunger is satisfied!

If you want to know God’s heart for you, you can study the 37 recorded miracles of Jesus Christ in “Messiah’s Miracles”. As we look at each of the miracles that were recorded in the four gospels, you will know Abba God better by seeing what Jesus does. Wow, I really miss my work. I’ve taken an unwilling 1.5 year leave of absence from my job to date and as a self-diagnosed workaholic, suffice to say, I’ve been having on/off anxiety since. Here I thought it was gon be a temporary thang; refusing to acknowledge the new normal and instead, indulged in various sports and hobbies to keep my “kancheong spider” brain occupied, pretending hard that it’s just a hot damn long ass vacation. I mean, er, staycation 🥴

Fret not compadre (in case anybody is even fretting), this kiasu kween has a will made of steel and it’ll take a lot more than a pandemic to get my stubborn arse out of showbiz. Won’t stop hustling just yet 💪🏻

For this episode, we decided to live a day as Korean! Korean culture has taken the world by storm in recent years, with their food, drink and music becoming commonplace. I was approached by the Korean Liquor Association to experience it fully for one day, with an emphasis on Korean Traditional Liquor. Joining me were three beautiful Korean promoters, Grace (@luvgahyun), Rachel (@boyeon_aa) and Melody (@melody_melody___), where we all dressed in traditional Korean attire, the hanbok.

We went to Hyang Yeon Korean B.B.Q. Restaurant where we indulged in an extravagant spread of Korean food with a live BBQ station, including Prime Beef Short-rib, Japchae (Korean Glass Noodles) and Buchimgae (Korean Pancakes). We paired Korean Traditional Liquors with the food we ate, elevating the meal greatly.

It was such a lovely experience that we decided to do an elaborate feast for dinner. We headed to Koryo Mart, a mart specialising in Korean products, to stock up on Korean Traditional Liquors that we had washed down the previous meal with. Then, we went to Go! K-BBQ to takeaway food for dinner. Go! K-BBQ dry-ages their meat while also offering the usual excellent Korean fare.

Setting up back at the studio, we ate Korean Beef Stew, Bossam, Stir-fried Squid and Kimchi Fried Rice. Promoter Rachel stood in as a bartender, whipping up delicious cocktails with the Korean Traditional Liquor we got from Koryo Mart. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, especially with my three companions and as I rarely drink. Pairing Korean Traditional Liquors with food correctly can enhance your dining and social experience greatly, as I learned during this video.

Follow me and my family (and my team) through our SUNDAY in Milan.

A little wind down from the hectic past week, and also the last day of Milan Fashion Week. We spent the morning at the very iconic duomo. No agenda, just touristy things.
Then, we indulged in our favourite pizza's for lunch at Berberè. Our 5th visit there in 6 days but we love it so much.
Following which, we attended the Max Mara, Sport Max and Weekend Max Mara re-see-- everything fresh from the run way + I tried on some of the pieces I was eyeing.
Then, we celebrated the win of Manchester United over Watford! :)
After which, we had our eyes feast on the most gorgeous collection from Bottega's collection!
We ended the day with another Italian meal.
It was a great SUNDAY!
