巴黎的藝術之丘 | 蒙馬特 Montmartre
任何造訪巴黎的旅人，必定會注意到市區北方、山頂有座潔白教堂的山丘，這座山丘便是蒙馬特。蒙馬特除了聖心堂這個顯眼的地標外，近代也以藝術家聚集而擁有不同於市區的氛圍。天生的藝術底蘊再佐以幾部電影帶動的浪潮，讓這座巴黎之丘成為旅人的必訪之地。


蒙馬特其實是此地的音譯，意譯則為烈士山（或殉道者山），這位殉道者便是大名鼎鼎的聖丹尼 (Sainte Denis)。這位天主教的主教因為在當時羅馬統治的蒙馬特傳教，而在山頂被羅馬人斬首。根據傳說，聖丹尼的軀體捧起了自己的首級，走到今日impasse Girardon一帶，才倒地而亡。蒙馬特也從原名戰神山Mont de Mars，改為烈士山Mont des Martyrs。


因為是巴黎市區的高地，蒙馬特自然也是戰略要地，若要攻下巴黎，必要先佔領蒙馬特。十九世紀時，俄軍在巴黎戰役時，就曾經佔領蒙馬特，並架設火砲利用高度優勢砲轟巴黎市區。戰役最後由普奧俄組成的第六反法聯盟獲勝，迫使拿破崙退位並且將其流放。


此外，法軍血腥鎮壓巴黎公社的戰役也是在蒙馬特發生。也是在普法戰爭失敗與巴黎公社鎮壓的背景下，潔白的聖心堂以贖罪教堂的形式開始興建，是許多重要歷史的發生地。


儘管這樣沈重的氛圍，十九世紀末期至二十世紀初期，由於較為低廉的房租，蒙馬特成為藝術家聚集的熱點，許多著名的藝術家如莫內、雷諾瓦、畢卡索、馬諦斯與梵谷，作曲家 Eric Satie 等都曾在這裡居住與工作過。作為眾多傑出的靈魂聚集地與名作產地的蒙馬特，今日也引來許多追隨/憑弔大師的旅人，在小丘廣場 Place du Tertre 與狡兔酒吧 Lapin Agile 這些過去藝術家工作與聚會的地點常可看到他們的身影。


今日的蒙馬特也由於電影與當代藝術家的帶動，在蒙馬特與周邊也產生了許多新的景點。像是「艾蜜莉異想世界」中的Les Deux Moulins café、紅磨坊和愛之牆等等。


我雖不是每次來巴黎，都一定會去蒙馬特。但不知是這裡巷弄間流散出的藝術氣息，還是偶爾瞥見的山下巴黎市景，只要有到蒙馬特，總是讓我心曠神怡。推薦大家在下午時分來走走，並在黃昏時坐在聖心堂前的台階，細嚐巴黎的美好。

New Mainland Affairs Council (MAC) head Chiu Tai-san (邱太三) said in his address that the Taiwanese and Chinese people are anxiously hoping that they can resume normal exchanges once the COVID-19 pandemic is properly contained.

Chiu pledged to do his best to meet people's expectations to end the cross-Taiwan Strait standoff and improve two-way ties while upholding Taiwan's sovereignty and democratic system during his tenure.
