一個爛醉午後，喝了toki慶祝生日，我們三個人在小公寓裡聊天，煮飯，假裝日子好像跟平常一樣，在這裡沒有家人，他們可能是在這裡最像家人的朋友。⁣⁣ ⁣ 朋友的小公寓讓我想到大學的日子，斗六的小套房，5.5坪大的套房，甚至沒有廚房，但是熱愛煮菜的我買了層架、烤箱、鹵素爐就搭成了當時的膠囊廚房，料理了近百道菜，煮到跳電也不亦樂乎，不過一直以來幾乎都是自己下廚，從來沒有從別人的鏡頭裡看過自己下廚的樣子，發現其實邊煮邊說話其實很不容易，因此有許多令人尷尬的停頓及不順暢的口條，這邊必須給電視上教人做菜的主廚們一個大拇指！⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ 那天煮了羊肉爐跟肉絲炒飯，由於是第一次做羊肉爐，為了嚐鮮加了橙皮導致湯頭變苦了，所以如果你也要做羊肉爐的話請別加橙皮！做炒飯首選依然是中華大炒鍋，鑄鐵鍋過重且熱氣沒有辦法包覆整個米飯，有些焦底，可惜了。⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ A very drunk afternoon with friends. I bought Toki for my birthday - Toki means time in Japanese which I think it’s very poetic to drink on the birthday. Also, Toki has the fruity sweetness and hint of oak and white pepper which goes well with Asian cuisine - especially lamb. FYI, I’m not professional sommelier, I just say my opinion on wine and food.⁣ Celine ’s apartment reminded me of the days in college. The small suite in Douliu, 195 sq ft without a kitchen, but it didn’t stop me from cooking! I bought a shelf, an oven, and a halogen stove to make a “capsule kitchen”. I had been cooking nearly a hundred dishes happily.  Even so, I had blackout in my apartment several times. This was the very first time I see myself cooking through the lens. It’s not easy to talk and cook simultaneously. Therefore, there are many embarrassing pauses… sorry about that. Shout out to Gordon Ramsay! ⁣⁣⁣ I made the lamb soup and fried rice with shredded pork that day. Since it was the first time making the lamb soup, I added orange zest spontaneously which brought the soup bitterness subtly. Don’t put it if you are going to make it. For the fried rice, using Chinese wok would bring the best result. Cast iron pan is too heavy and the heat is unable to cover the entire rice, which was a bit burnt, Ugh pity :\ ⁣ -⁣ Also, I put together some of my favorite songs to make a cooking playlist. Featuring Xavier Cugat, Eydie Gormé, Los Panchos, Omara Portuondo...etc. Hope it will give you a good, energetic, passionate vibe in kitchen :)⁣⁣ Thank @celine_jeanne_ let me stay in this cute apartment.
