I started taking climate crisis more seriously about a year ago, and I felt I needed to rise to the occasion, but inevitably was faced with climate doom, and a sense of helplessness. After having more conversations with people and getting some advice, I ultimately came to the conclusion that its making commitments to the little things that count. I feel that I’m at 25% green as I’m channeling my best efforts to reduce, reuse, recycle, and am constantly on the lookout for ideas that can help improve my eco-journey. On top of kickstarting the habit of bringing my own food boxes, I have ideas to work on compostables, and have long term plans to get involved with clean ups and workshops to learn from people and enrich my knowledge. Tbh I’m really not quite there yet, and these plans are scarily exciting.
