#英文學習必知

英文的複數常見的包含+s, +es, 去y+ies, 去f(e)+ves等變法，但是有些單字的單複數卻完全長不一樣(不規則變化)，要特別記起來唷!

單數→複數 (中文)
不規則變化 +en
ox→oxen (公閹)牛
child→children 孩子
（單）※ There was *an ox* in my house. 我家以前有一隻牛。
（複）※ There are many *oxen* on the farm. 那個農場有很多牛。

不規則變化 sis→ses
crisis→crises 危機
analysis→analyses 分析
thesis→theses 論文
（單）※ I did't need to write *a thesis* while attending a master's program in the UK. 我在英國讀碩士班的時候不用寫論文。
（複）※ All the graduate students in Taiwan are required to write *theses* before being conferred Master's Degrees in pursuance to the Degree Conferral Law. 根據學位授予法，所有台灣的研究生在獲頒碩士學位前須完成論文書寫。

不規則變化 us→i
alumnus→alumni (男)校友
stimulus→stimuli 刺激
octopus→octopi / octopuses 章魚
syllabus→syllabi / syllabuses 課綱
（單）※ Where can I find the *syllabus* of this course? 我在那裡可以找到這門課的課綱?
（複）※ All the *syllabi* can be found through the system. 通過此系統可以查到所有的課綱。

medium→media 媒體
bacterium→bacteria 細菌
memorandum→memoranda 備忘錄
curriculum→curricula 課程
（單）※ That university just signed *a memorandum* of understanding (MOU) with another university in the US. 那間大學剛和美國一件大學簽了合作備忘錄(MOU)。
（複）※ The two countries have signed *several memoranda* pledging to work together. 這兩個國家簽署了數份協議備忘錄，承諾會互相合作。

phenomenon→phenomena 現象
criterion→criteria 標準
（單）※ Gravity is a natural *phenomenon*.重力是一種自然現象。
（複）※ Science can't explain all paranormal *phenomena*. 科學無法解釋所有的超自然現象

不規則變化 a→nae
alumna→alumnae 女校友
antenna→antennae 天線
formula→formulae / formulas 公式
（單）※ There's no magic *formula* for success. 成功沒有竅門。
（複）※ Students need to memorize many math *formulae*. 學生需要背起很多數學公式。

不規則變化 e→ce
die /dice →dice 骰子
mouse→mice 小鼠
（單）※ *A die* is a cube with six faces showing a different number of dots from 1 to 6. 一顆骰子是一個立方體，有六個面，分別有1-6點的點數。
（複）※ Playing "si̍p-pat-á" needs *four dice*. 玩「十八仔」需要四顆骰子。

不規則變化 單複數同型(皆為s結尾)
corps→corps 軍團
species→species 物種
crossroads → crossroads 十字路口
headquarters → headquarters 總部
means → means 方法
series → series 系列
（單）※ The leopard cat is an endangered species. 石虎屬於瀕危物種。
（複）※ Over a thousand species of plants are found in this area. 這一地區有上千種植物。

Form 6 Maths - M2 - Practice Paper

SECTION A

Question 1
屬中五程度的 binomial theorem 二項式定理，仲要係最容易個隻。

Question 2
System of linear equation 線性方程組 之 homogeneous equation 齊次三元
有 non-trivial solution 非零解，其實只係
而同學細心d睇，其實係一個2次的狀態，
只需要用產產產的方法就 okay

Question 3
會考程度的 MI，相對比較繁少少的考法
時間會長少少，不過 5 分，所以 format 上不要太過求其

Question 4
(a) part 唔難，
但 (b) part 其實係 partial fraction (積分 integration 教過的技巧。)

Question 5
(a) part 為 三角學的 compounded angle formula
而 (b) part 當中就算唔識計，都可以用到我地 program 黎估到答案係 0

Question 6
典型的 first principle 考法

Question 7
有d似中七 maths and statistics 的作風，利用 e 及微分 differentiation 砌公式出黎。

Question 8
(a) 正如上堂所講 substitution 唔會再俾 hint (除非太深)
(b) 積分A筆記已列曬所有 by part 的典型題目，呢條係其中一條

Question 9
Tangent, normal 切線法線 的第三類題型，溫翻我地d筆記無可能唔識。

Question 10
(a) 開始有少少睇頭，要自己明白要 in 都 e 就一定要次方同d裡面果件完全相同先可以 in 到。開始超越中五程度
(b) 開始打破傳統，迫學生用 shell method，仲要完全明白內裡 concept 先計到。
我地會於 intensive plan b 加強呢 part 的技巧

大睇上 section A 要攞分唔算太難，如果數學底較差的同學，應該放多D時間嚮上面，令自己可以當中取得40分以上，就一定穩合格

SECTION B
Question 11
(a), (b) 唔算難，但 (c) part 就要睇你有無做過 past paper，其實有某幾年的 past paper 都有類似考法，有做過的相信用多少少時間應該攻得入，無做過的可能真係會全軍覆沒。

Question 12
(a)(i) & (a)(ii) part 其實都係用緊中五程度的 2D Vector
(a)(iii) part 就要你好明白立體向量的概念，如果學校教得好少或者好亂，可能完全唔知佢問咩。
(b)(i) 有背公式唔難搵
(b)(ii) 的確好深，要明白如何運用平行於抽象的3D當中，此 part 的深度已達中七。

Question 13
(a) 要了解 odd, even function 奇偶函數的特性，否則無可能識計
(b) 利用 compounded angle formula 複數公式，慢慢砌一定砌到，但2分的回報實在太低。
(c) 要用曬 (a), (b) part 的結果，當中都算複雜

Question 14
(a) part 好淺
(b) part 的內在 concept 唔難，但好煩，好易令自己陷入困境而浪費好多時間

綜合全份卷，都係算深，但部署上一定要先做 section A，
section A係50分，section B又係50分，
但所用的時間相信 section B要多一倍
成本效益，所以一定先攻陷 section A
另外 Long question 都係以取易不取難的戰術
