Firehouse Product Feature: @renewalbyandersen.llc & @andersen_windows I just had the RbA guys up at the #StoneHouse measuring for windows (gonna be NUTS!) so I thought it was a good time to look back at what the @rba.windows.njny guys did at the firehouse. Before we even get to the #windows, the team is one of the best I have ever seen do it. I looked forward to having these guys on site everyday; passionate, skilled, kind, helpful, and they left the job cleaner than they found it 🙌🏼🤙🏼💪🏼 The windows are really incredible, they’re made from fibrex, which is their proprietary wood composite-the short non-nerdy version here is that they are guaranteed for life & 0 maintenance. The Low E4 smart sun glass bounces back something like 95% of harmful UV, which is what fades your furniture, rugs and floors over time, and the glass stays cool to the touch even in the dead of summer. And you’ve heard me say it a million times: they are SO QUIET! With our bedroom on the ground floor and a bus stop directly outside our building we hear almost no noise whatsoever, it really needs to be experienced! Lastly, the #Andersen doors I used for the main entry and side garage entry were completely customized to my existing masonry openings and were approved by historic as appropriate for this historic renovation, which is huge...the doors open and close effortlessly with their hardware and balancing + they have 3 locking points (top, middle & bottom) so the door is super secure when locked.
