【英文字彙 / 搭配詞學習 5 大筆記整理術】

✔︎ 當頭腦裡面冒出「補習、補考、補貼、補充說明」時，你頭腦只冒出 make up，最後只能花很多時間，吱吱嗚嗚地拼湊出中式英文？

✔︎ 知道 Tax 是税，但「課稅」的英文不會？ 知道 soda 是汽水，但「汽水沒氣」的英文不會？

大多人都同意「字彙」對於語言學習的重要性如同水之於生命。這5年來一直在從「思維」調整出發，進行
rule-based learning 和 chunk-based learning 雙管齊下的 學習方式，讓我們不只會認、還用得出來。

今天這篇文章想跟大家分享整理字彙的4大方法：

1️⃣ 思考中英文差異，整理整理 (中文) 一對 (英文) 多的可能性：

補習 go to a cram school 補輪胎 repair a tire
補貼 subsidize (v) 補課 take a make-up test

雖說都有「補」一個字，但是英文的表達方式完全不一樣。

「棒球場」、「田徑場」、「滑雪場」都有「場」，難道都是 field 嗎？

2️⃣ 整理英文翻成中文後，意思相像，但用法不同的字群。
以「快速」為概念，「快速發展」的英文，母語人士不太說 fast development，更常見的是 rapid development。

例: fast fashion (快時尚)、prompt reply (快速的回覆)、speedy recovery (快速的復原)

3️⃣ 整理高頻常用的英文一字多義用法 (見搭配詞的力量形容詞篇)
例如，flat (a) 不要只學平坦的，更要學 The soda tastes flat (汽水沒氣)、flat economy (經濟蕭條)、got a flat tire (爆胎)

4️⃣ 主題式分類、紀錄 (圍繞在概念上)
若你很喜歡旅遊，那麼跟旅遊相關的語塊，就是你要勤勞紀錄、做筆記的內容。

例如，跟團旅行 (join a package tour)、廉航 (budget airline)、旅費 (travel expenses) 、行動電源 (portable charger) 都是要能一秒鐘噴出來的用法。

5️⃣ 用「字」當主題出發點，使用心智圖作延伸

例如: 今天如果以 money 當作出發點，可以延伸出：

• pension 退休金，那麼就可以延伸出 pension reform 年金改革
• investment 投資，那麼可以延伸出 wise investment 睿智的投資
• fund 資金，那麼可以伸出 fund-raising 募資
這樣的搭配詞群
