〔Digital Marketer〕

Work location: Sheung Wan/ Yau Ma Tei
Salary: 22K +, negotiable based on experience
5 Days work

Key Responsibilities:

－Responsible for increasing online sales through connecting with the right audiences, design and execute creative campaigns and continuously improving UI and UX.
－Handle weekly advertising (Digital Marketing) and Commercial strategies
－Lead and plans in brand strategy and providing strategic solutions in fast-paced environment
－Review business priorities, practical solution to business problems proactively
－Work closely with the creative and production team of 50 people.
－Analyse, design, implement lead generation systems on website
－Design and implement Loyalty Program and reduce Abandon Carts
－Conduct user research, user testing, AB testing to optimize customer experience
－Analyze user journey to understand motivation, expose pain points, issues and improvement opportunities
－Responsible for planning, budgeting, executing, monitoring promotion plans to boost business growth.
50% work on general marketing, 50% work on UI/UX

To be successful in this role you will exemplify our CORE values and:

－Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications is preferred
5+ years marketing experience at agencies or in-house is preferred
－Experience in Shopify is a bonus
－Strong market business sense and well knowing of the market
－Experience in marketing plans and brand building activities including social media, search engine, digital and media planning
－Strong analytic with good presentation and communication skills, and able to work under pressure
－Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
－Be proactive approach, with extreme confidence in taking ownership of your work and the results it drives
－Attention to detail, consistency and accuracy

Job Description
－Prepare invoicing
－Execution and monitoring of all regular purchasing duties
－Review payments and receipt transactions
－Prepare company secretarial documents

澳洲打工度假，該不該去？

日前報導，新鮮人因不知自己想做什麼，所以門檻低的行政工作成了首選，起薪26K。

這，真是最好的職涯選擇嗎？

前陣久未謀面的長輩急著約我出來。
原來， 他們女兒嚮往可年存一桶金，到澳洲打工度假，卻不幸遇上工作要被抽佣、住宿也要被抽佣，且還是「黑工」（非法聘用不報稅）的狀況。

他們很擔心，問我這「正不正常」？

答案是：正常，但也不正常。

許多台灣朋友到澳洲「打工度假」，因英語能力不足、又面臨高消費環境，往往「不得不」屈就於狀況不優的工作環境，就算吃虧也不敢吭聲。聽了，實在心疼。

澳洲其實是一個很棒的國家，有法律保護勞工 –甚至還有依勞工工作類別，規範出雇主該給的最低薪資(Award)。2017年，澳洲的最低薪資，依法已達稅前A$18.29 (~台幣438)，所以如果你的雇主給你少於這個數字，小心，你可能遇到黑心老闆了！

另外，對背包客非常重要的，就是新的「背包客」稅，2017正式上路。

之前，背包客和澳洲公民享有一樣A$18,200 （~ 台幣436,800) 的免稅額 - 也就是說，你一年要賺超過這數字，才會開始被課稅。

但從今年開始，澳洲政府為了要平息抗議「背包客搶工作」一說，背包客賺到的第一塊錢就要被課15% 所得稅，而當你賺到A$37,000 之後的每一塊錢，都將被課32.5%。

稅變重了，再加上匯率從以前的1:30 掉到 1:23~24 左右 (一塊澳幣可換23 ～24塊台幣) ，確實所謂的「一桶金」，再也沒那麼好撈。但我也希望，大家除了看到金幣之外，也問問自己，你出國打工度假，到底是想得到甚麼？

很多人跟我說：練英文。

嗯，請容我忍住翻白眼的衝動，也讓我誠實地告訴你，很多人回來英文沒有變好多少 （但煮飯一定變強）。Ｗhy?

「打工度假」時，很多人為了要多拿一年簽證，或是因較沒門檻，會到農場打工，但是，到農場打工到底意味著什麼呢？藍天、綠地、親近大自然好自在？

我一位朋友告訴我，他們每天就一人被分配到果園一區，且得獨立把那區的櫻桃摘完。每天，她就只跟櫻桃面對面、乾瞪眼，請問…是要跟櫻桃「練英文」嗎？ (Hello, here is a cherry, there is a cherry, I have a whole basket of cherries…)

另一位則是在農舍裡幫忙分類綠花菜。她告訴我，她會跟其他工人一起分工合作，但其他人也都是台灣人，所以大家都講中文。偶而，也會有其他國家的朋友。但大家都是非英語系的國家來的，英文都一樣差，學學他國文化還不錯，但精進英語？有點難。

很多人會問，那錢好不好賺呢？
我還真有一位朋友一年存到一百萬，但那是冒著被切割器具傷到、要打疫苗避免感染生病、大夜班高風險去屠宰場幫忙包裝肉品，一天兼兩份工，且都不花錢所努力存下來的。

我們都說，國外薪水比較高。但我體驗更深刻的是，消費也超高啊！
大家應該也要打進算盤的是，你出國的食衣住行樣樣的成本全扣掉之後，真正還可存下的錢，那才算是真「賺」到的 discretionary income (扣除必要開銷後的自由支出)。

我也遇過一對背包客，30歲左右，台灣原本科技業的，但覺得爆肝又月薪太低，寧可到澳洲的華人餐廳沒天沒夜地打黑工，用時間換金錢。我也問過他，當初為何想要來？他告訴我，「想出來看看，練練英文」。我又問，「那有練到嗎？」，他苦笑地跟我說，每天端盤子上菜都來不及了，哪有時間跟人聊天交談？那為什麼不走？他說換算下來，雖是勞力活，但是時薪 (NTD 400 - 500)比台灣高多了，捨不得走，於是就拖著…

我聽了心裡五味雜陳。人生真只有剩下錢嗎？台灣就真有這麼糟嗎？也不禁為他擔心，哪天他回台灣了，要怎麼用兩年的「服務生」經歷去跟老闆爭取更好的待遇？那麼就算他持續用學生簽證硬留了下來，偷偷打「黑工」，他的人生會因此可走得更廣更遠嗎？

沒有標準答案。

去或不去？留與不留？永遠是每個出去的背包客會在心裡盤旋許久與掙扎的問題，就如我當初一樣。

如果你問我，我會說，想去就去吧，但要問好自己，你去了到底是為了什麼？

去了趟澳洲，我永不會忘記露天睡在紅色沙漠中被星光照醒的那晚、潛入大堡礁海底追著大海龜游、黑夜中找小袋鼠餵他們吃麥片、還有那一小段在人生地不熟的時刻，淋著雨自己拉著兩個行李箱找房子覺得自己是白癡的無助…歷練過，你會知道自己其實比你自己想像中的更堅強。

但也別忘了，給自己明確的目標，不要迷路了。設立好一定的停損點，不然回家的路，真的會非常、非常、非常遙遠。

／我們的總結是︰保守黨以極端效率和不正常行政手段，確保梁君彥議員能及時處理國籍放棄手續。簡單地說，保守黨企圖單手把一個北京傀儡放在香港立法會主席的座位上。

在此事上，我們不幸發現，保守黨渴望討好中國，或至少，不敢開罪北京。這種態度，與文翠珊首相近日宣布啟動《里斯本條約》第50條、正式脫歐的自信風範，可謂截然不同。文翠珊似乎承襲了卡梅倫向北京習慣性叩頭的作風。

保守黨的軟弱，因為區區一個梁君彥的過份要求而出現難以明白的混亂或錯誤，令英國一直行之有效的文官系統出現重大缺陷——因北京的干預和壓力而行駛隨意、毫無章法準則的「酌情權」。凡此種種，也許會令英國國民尷尬。而香港人對英國強行保送北京欽定候選人（梁君彥議員）坐上立會主席寶座一事的主動角色，亦必然失望。／

Mr. Andrew Kwan-yuen Leung’s application to renounce British citizenship

／Our conclusion is that the Conservative government has been extremely efficient and take utterly extraordinary practice to ensure that Mr. Leung would be able to meet the election deadline for his renunciation. In short, the Conservative government has helped in putting a puppet for Beijing on the Presidential seat of the HK Legislative Council.

The Conservative government has shown its eagerness to please the PRC during this saga, or at the very least, they had been careful to avoid offending or angering the PRC. The attitude shown in this case is so different to the self-assured image set by PM Theresa May's recent scheduling to trigger Article 50 of the Treaty of Lisbon. It appears as though Theresa May, of all people, has inherited David Cameron’s style of habitual kowtowing to Beijing.

The Conservative government’s flattery to Beijing, as well as the unfathomable mess by their civil servants in response to Andrew Leung's unduly reckless request may nevertheless embarrass UK people. The discretionary power exercised by the UK Government has been arbitrary, inconsistent and violated standard practices. These acts must be an embarrassment for the British people. While the British government’s forceful escorting of a Beijing assigned candidate, against concerns of legitimacy, to the throne of Chairmanship at the Hong Kong Legislative Council, is surely disappointing to the Hong Kong people.／
