Still remember that time i was collecting seeds & plants, studying it and also hand-drawn the plant structure..
Biology & Plant Physiology are some of my favourite subject in Uni ☺️
And now, Botanical is part of my life 🥰

Forest Discovery Centre @ OCBC Arboretum

⚪️ Gallop House No. 5 (Atbara) is Singapore’s oldest surviving colonial era or black-and-white bungalow. Built in 1898, it now houses the Forest Discovery Centre @ OCBC Arboretum, which showcases Singapore’s forest ecosystems, and highlights the importance of conserving them.

⚪️ The Botanical Art Gallery is housed within the second refurbished conserved building, Gallop House No. 7 (Inverturret), which was built in 1906. The gallery highlights the vital role that art plays in the scientific documentation of plants in Singapore and the region.

Today is World Environment Day. One way we can help protect the environment is by conserving water.

At the recent Global Water Awards 2021, the international water community recognised PUB, Singapore's National Water Agency as the “Resilient Water Agency of the Year”. The Keppel Marina East Desalination Plant, officially opened in February, was named the Desalination Plant of the Year.

PUB has been working hard to ensure water security for Singapore. Its efforts have won awards yearly since 2018, a testament to their commitment to innovation and technology, especially amid the pandemic and climate change. Congratulations PUB for this latest well-deserved accolade!

OCEAN'US is a collaboration initiative of Hatta Dolmat with Ocean Hero Conservation that are in-line with the UN SDG12 Responsible Consumption and Production, SDG14 Life Below Water and Eleventh Malaysia Plan: Pollution control action plans towards the eradication of littering and usage of plastic bottles that will endanger marine life by transforming plastic bottles into fabric. This campaign is an effort to educate the importance of conserving marine life themed with ‘Plastic Bottles - Free Ocean’ and ocean sustainability in order to promote the green technology in converting plastic bottles to fabric.
