In the Japanese “Zhua-Zhou” tradition, they have the baby carry a giant slab of mochi cake on their back. The mochi in Japanese has the same sound as “lifetime”, symbolizing a lifetime of bountiful resources and prosperity. Now, the fake mochi Jarvie is carrying on his back is just for show, it’s a prop. But in Japan, babies actually have to carry a real brick of mochi weighing 2kg (4.4lb). For a baby that weighs around 9kg (19.8lb) to carry almost a fourth of his body weight on his back and forced to crawl around, I’ve been told that all babies cry at the ceremony 😂 This tradition is to also show the baby that life isn’t going to be smooth-sailing, they’re gonna have to stand up where they fall and keep going.
Jarvie did it with ease (it’s a photo shoot 😆) and we took some nice family portraits!

小插花一下中文
米寶揹的餅是麻糬，日文叫做一升餅，「一升」跟「一生」音一樣，象徵著寶寶長壽、一生不愁吃穿的意思。一升古時候的測量單位，是1.8公斤，寶寶身上揹的又是蒸好的麻糬，加了水份大概2公斤。
一個一歲的寶寶差不多9、10公斤，身上揹著一個2公斤的餅簡直是重死他，聽說揹餅爬的寶寶都很崩潰，整場都是寶寶的大哭跟長輩覺得可愛的歡樂笑聲，不過也象徵著人生不簡單，會遇到挫折，哪裡跌倒就要哪裡爬起來

影集大踩中共政治紅線 《南方公園》道歉：習長得不像小熊維尼
受惠於中國球星姚明曾效力的球隊，NBA休士頓火箭在中國擁有廣大的支持度，卻因為日前火箭隊總管莫雷（Daryl Morey）於推特發文挺香港而將中國人玻璃心擊碎，幾乎是傾全國之力抵制火箭隊，甚至連中國NBA最大官方合作夥伴《騰訊體育》都宣布將暫停火箭隊比賽直播和資訊報導。這回連《南方公園》也來湊一腳，官方臉書於今早發文十分嘲諷地向中國官方道歉。
就在10日1日上傳的著名美國動畫喜劇影集《南方公園》第23季第2集《中國樂隊》中，將中共非法活摘器官、集中營殺人、言論審查制度、小熊維尼都納入劇情內容，可說是瘋狂踩在中國政治紅線上，當然，這部影片本質上其實是諷刺美國人為了賺中國錢什麼事都做得出來。
十分剛好地，就在南方公園最新影集上傳後，馬上就發生因NBA休士頓火箭總管莫雷在個人推特分享「FIGHT FOR FREEDOM」、「STAND WITH HONG KONG」圖片，瞬間將所有中國人的玻璃心擊碎，進而展開由上由下的全面抵制，包括《騰訊體育》將暫停火箭隊比賽直播和資訊報導，中國最大體育社群之一的《虎撲體育》也將火箭隊討論區整個移除，而目前這把抵制之焰更是延燒至整體NBA能否在中國市場繼續經營的議題。
就在NBA遭中國人抵制後，《南方公園》再度出面湊一腳，就在台灣時間今晨時段，其官方臉書發布一篇文字聲明，斗大的標題寫著「TREY PARKER與MATT STONE向中國正式道歉」，內容提到：「就像是NBA，我們十分歡迎中國的言論審查進入我們的家庭和心中。我們愛錢遠勝過於自由和民主。習長得一點也不像小熊維尼。星期三晚上十點記得收看我們第300集！我大中國共產黨萬歲！預祝今年秋季高粱大豐收！我們這樣是不是好棒棒好乖呢？」
還有網友眼尖發現，這篇官方聲明最後一句的原文：「May this autumn's sorghum harvest be bountiful!」，這句話本身在這篇文章就有些突兀，但如果是話中有話呢？如果細看「sorghum harvest」並把字首的「S」去掉的話，「orghum harvest」的發音像極了「organ harvest」，翻回中文便是器官摘除，不管是否有此意思，不可不稱讚《南方公園》埋梗之深。
